HAPPY EASTER!!! And HAPPY SUNDAY to those who don't celebrate Easter.

Thank you so much Autumn and Anne with your input. Yes, I debated temping because like you Anne, I can get really OCD about things and I can see myself obsessing over my temps and overanalyzing and pondering. It's fun right now, but if it gets too much, I might just wait and see. I didn't have a hard time conceiving my first two, but I was also a lot younger so we'll see.

I am on a mission to eat clean this week. Okay, I ate two malt balls and a dove caramel, but that's it! Here was my workout schedule last week.

Sun - off
Mon - IMAX3
Tues - off
Wed - B&G leg blast; 15 min abs
Thrus - off
Fri - GS BSB; 30 min cardio
Sat - Kickmax

I'm trying to get back to a 5/week workout schedule, but with work being super busy, it's been hard. What is everyone's workout schedule this week? I'm thinking of doing one of Cathe's rotations, but haven't decided which one yet. Any suggestions?

Since Melanie hasn't posted a challenge for this week yet, how's about a whole grain challenge? Let's make sure we are trying to eat whole grain foods instead of simple carbs. Okay, this is very personal for me because I am trying to cut down on the whites. Anyone in?

I'm in but I'm actually on my second phase of P90X this week. Anyone done this before?

Sat - Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Ab Ripper X
Sun - Plyometrics
Mon - Back & Biceps, Ab Ripper X
Tues - Yoga X
Wed - Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X
Thur - Kenpo X
Fri - Rest/Stretch and a Massage! :)

I have to eat clean this week. All of my work in the first month of P90X was ruined by my bad eating habits. Today I had a bunny's head and upper half of dark chocolate and 2 glasses of cabernet sauv.

I exercise like crazy and end up not losing (not gaining either) b/c of not eating clean. Just think of what I could do if I ate clean! }(

FYI - Adding extra Fiber to your diet (if you get 25-35 g a day) can help you lose 2 lbs a month adding up to 26 lbs a year! That's if you did nothing extra! Saw it on PBS. I take Benefiber.

Trying to fit in a lot of 'extra curricular' activities toward the end of this week as I should 'O' sometime next week! ;-)

DH bought P90X so I did some of the workouts, but not in the 90-day cycle suggested. I did the shoulders & arms, plyox, abripperx and I'm going to do chest, shoulders, & triceps tomorrow. I tried to do it with DH, but I couldn't stick to it because I get bored easily. Not that Tony is boring, but I'm ADD when it comes to workouts. How are you liking it? I do like his strength routines though.

You sound just like me. If I ate clean, I could drop the extra 3-5lbs. I did gain weight after increasing my weight training, but I wouldn't mind dropping 3-5 lbs regardless. I gave up wine because that was adding up, but I do still have an occasional drink. I'm trying to increase my whole grain intake, but I love sushi - the white rice is probably not the best thing.

Did Imax2 today and abs. Then P90X chests, tris, & shoulders tomorrow.

hi everyone! cannot believe it is monday again.

i am on board with the whole grains - i need to limit processed food in general. i wish i knew how many calories i needed, factoring in workouts and breast feeding. i feel like if i try to cut back i get too hungry, yet my weight is really stuck. i must have just had a low water day, b/c my weight is no different.

as far as workouts, lets see if i can remember
sun - 7mil run, me
mon - 8mil run
tues - cardio fusion, bm2 upper body only
weds - butts and guts
thrus - no power!!
fri - kpc, bc cardio only
sat - 8mil run

hope everyone had a great easter.
 
Lisa - I definitely like Cathe's workouts better as far as excitement, but I am gaining a lot strength from the P90X workouts. If I get bored, I throw one of Cathe's in there for the week. I can't wait to get back to Cathe's again though. I seem to just sweat more with her workouts. Makes me feel like I'm working out more.

Morris - You're an animal with your workout. I wish I could run 8 miles. My knees won't take it with osteoarthritis in them both, so I do my best with 3 mile runs. How long until you felt like really doing full workouts after you had your little one?

Have my RE appointment tomorrow, wish me luck! DH is so afraid that they'll be asking him to make a 'deposit' tomorrow! :D He's so cute.

Hi everyone! EIGHT days no MD. My goal is to continue no MD. I know I should have whole grains over white grains. I rarely eat potatoes, bread, or noodles the big No Nos, but I do eat the worst of them all---chocolate. I really don't think I'm strong enough to give up chocolate this week, b/c MD cravings are still HUGE...but I will continue to increase my water intake...does this count? ;)

I forgot to write down my workouts again, and Im starting to get bummed b/c I signed up for that 10K in a few weeks, but the weather has been to darn cold to run in! We're talking snow and below zero temps here (very unusual for MN weather in April).

Sun: TJ Remix + Fat Blaster + Ab Jam 1
Mon: TJ CP 2 + Ab Jam 2
Tue: KPC
Wed: TJ Kickin Core
Thurs: TJ Total Body
Fri: off
Sat: off

I haven't gotten on the scale, but I did go to ob/gyn on Wed and my weight was a little less than prior to my 2nd baby...so I have to be happy with that! :D My clothes fit, so all must be okay.

I have CM, and may be Oing, so I'll try to serenade my DH tonight. :D :D :D Wish me luck. ;)

I ate really good today and I'm so happy. No white carbs! Let's see if this can continue for the rest of the week. The chocolate is hard to give up for me also...even though I don't eat a lot of it, I crave it constantly. Sugar is my weakness, but the less I have, the less I crave so I just have to get to that point. But weighing myself (got new batteries for the scale) made me determined to lose a few pounds. My clothes fit fine, but eugh...the weight.

Morris - Your workout schedule is very inspiring. I have no excuse since you have a baby to care for and still get in those workouts!

chocolate isn't whole grain???? man, i am so bad with this week's challenge already. i figured if it wasn't white.... this is an especially bad sugar day/2days for me too. i am tired and ready for dh to come home though it is still more than a week away. exercising is my main release right now, hence the workouts. unfortunatly, i think they make me really hungry and i then eat more.

good luck with your appt anne. what are you expecting from it? melanie, i hope this works for you guys - does dh know what you are planning;-) good job qwith the eating lisa. you are s right about craving it more when you eat it more.
 
Hi y'all! I can't remember my workouts last week. I only accomplished 4 days.

I need to limit processed carbs too. I love 'em though.

Hi all,
I'm there with you and the chocolate! I ate my whole dark chocolate bunny from Easter! AHhHhh...

Well, had my appointment with the RE today. He said that since we got prego on the first try last year and that we could even get prego, was a good sign that tube blockage may not be an issue. He basically explained the whole regimens that they'll go through to test us and then find a plan that works for us. Unfortunately, I don't think IVF is an option for us. Insurance pays nothing and we just can't afford $13,000 at this point. He did mention that artificial insemination (AI) may be a good option for us if it's just low sperm count it might do the trick.

So anyway, I'm glad to get the ball rolling on this to at least find out what (if anything) we're dealing with. I've been really stress free from no temping or monitors for a while, so hoping this next week DH and I can use that time to make things happen. Maybe we'll get lucky and not have to do all this testing after all.

How are the exercise routines going? Again it comes back to 'clean eating' for me, which I just can't seem to do. Had a million Dove chocolate pieces today...

ahhh dove cholcate. we must have been on the same wavelength yesterday, anne. i ate wayyy too much cholcate. it started b/c i got stressed about a case at work and that was my "fix". so bad, i know. but, did i feel better? no! felt like garbage by the end of the day. just a down day overall. today is a day off for ds and i, and i am determined to do the challenge today - matybe not the whole rest of the week, but today:)

i was not feeling very energetic this am and did the cardio only from lic. i have 2 amy bento's waiting for me to preview, but no time to sit and do it. it is a whopping 27 degrees here but should warm up to 40 so we plan to go for a walk later.

anne, the appointment sounds very positive overall. i think it is great that you have identified your stresses so as to minimize them.

Did someone say Dove choclate? Mmmmm....my absolute favorite. The dark chocalte is the best dark chocolate ever. My kids got a bag of the Dove caramel.....and yes, I did sneak some from them.....so good, but so bad like Morris said. I'm glad I'm not the only "turn to chocolate when stressed" girl here!

Anne - I'm glad your appt went well. I'm keeping everything crossed for you to have a successful conception! BTW, I did P90X chests, tris, and shoulders and I suck at the pushups. Couldn't even do one of the one armed. Why does he pick to do the one arms toward the end when your arms feel like jello already?!!?

Went for a walk/run/jog/sprints this morning with DH. He made me do these intervals with a medicine ball and sprinting. x( Going to do pilates later tonight.

Has any other Easter Bunnys delivered chocolate bunnies missing parts, like say an ear? ;) My 13 year-old was quick to notice that his was missing an ear this year! Ha!

Lisa, that sounds like so much fun working out with DH, I"m so competitve, that would really push my limits!

dh would never ever work out with me. not sure why, but, he isn't that into it.

i had a chocolate free and sugar free day yesterday!!! i felt so much better and feel good today too. shall i go for another day in a row?

it started off as a good day yesterday then it went bad. had no lunch so picked up snacks from the gas station which is never good. had munchies, riesen, and peanut butter pretzels. i felt gross later that night. today is a new day. morris, looks like we switched places yesterday! we'll both have a good day today!

i'm trying, lisa. we are getting another snow storm now and i am anxious for the drive home. repeat after me - chocolate will not help:)

No Mountain Dews ---day 12!!! Oh yeah! Did I tell you that I am eating a piece of my son's chocolate DQ BDAy cake while typinng this? You guys are making me feel guilty!!!

Yay Melanie with the MDs! I did pretty good today. I did have one piece of Riesen and one small piece of dark chocolate because it was a LOOOOONG day. I had to drive in traffic 3x today so by the time I got home, I just needed a pick me up. Other than that I ate really well. No workout yet...I might pop in something. We'll see. If not, Friday and Saturday I'll work out then I'll meet my 5/week.

Anne - Thanks for the PM! I just read it today. Did you do OPKs with your temping?

melanie, if i could just eat a piece of b-day cake, i would. but then i'd have more and more and other junk and feel crummy. no will power at all, it is so pitiful. i did well thurs and did have a little chocolate - nothing else processed though. today is friday, snow is done for a few days, so i hope to stay clean today. we will see. great job on the mt dews melanie - are you subbing anything in for the missed caffine?

lisa, sounds like you had a great day too.
