Yay Morris for DH coming home soon and a vacation (although I know it's not a "real" vacation for you)! Congrats on your sister's wedding and sorry about the dress. The last time I was in a wedding I just had my miscarriage and I looked awful. I miscarried at 12-13 weeks (at least that's when I passed everything) and I was just bloated and didn't feel too pretty in a dress.

Anne - Poor DH. I hope you guys caught the egg last week!
Melanie - Yay for the MDs! Wow, you're on it!
Autumn - How's it going?

Yesterday was not the best eating day. Did good until dinner time. I ate deep fried jalapeno poppers that so wasn't worth the calories and munched on chocolate. Today is a new day and will be better (yes, keep telling yourself...it will be better).

Last week's workout schedule was
Sun - IMAX2
Mon - P90X chests, tris, shoulders
Tues - Off
Wed - run/jog/sprint plus pilates
Thur - Off
Fri - Total Gym (DH bought one long ago and uses it. I do it once in awhile, reminds me of doing pilates on a Stotts machine) plus legs
Sat - Cardio & Weights

I haven't decided what I'm going to do today. Maybe Drill Max. I agree with Morris on another eat clean week challenge. It really helped me.

Have a great Sunday!

Lisa

Hi ladies! I think I'm strong enough for a clean eating challenge this week. I've really increased my water intake--drinking up to 2Liters daily so I feel like I'm off to a good start. Absolutely no MDs, I do allow myself to have a Root Beer here and there, but I know I can't get carried away with them (they're not as tasty). I like to munch, if I can stay away from chocolate for a week I think I'd be doing really good. We'll see.

I worked out 4 days last week. I cannot remember what I did. Turbo Jams & Mindy Mylreas Awesome Intervals & one run. Since the weather is finally agreeing with the calander, I ran 3 mi on Sat, 5 mi on Sun..of yesterday (so sore I could barely move). Plan is 3 or 4 miles today, and 5 again tomorrow. I have to train at least a little for that 10K in 12 days!!!!!

Little Justin started swimming lessons yesterday (the ones where moms go in pool with them). It was so fun, if only they could make the water warmer! Urgh!!!

Everyone looks like they are doing great. This is such an educational forum...I learn so much from you ladies! Have a great week making those babies!!!! :) :D :D

Wow, slow, slow board this week.

Anyway, had a horrible eating day yesterday. Had a busy, stressful last two days and got no workouts in except on Sunday. I'll post more later since I have to get ready for work and wake my kids up.

Anne, so are you on your 2ww?

I'll post more later tonight!

Lisa

Hi all,
Trying to eat clean this week too, but the ice cream shop in our little town opened last week. I got a small chocolate crunch shake with snickers and heath bar. I couldn't resist. I usually go on a long walk and then stop for the ice cream and walk home, but tonight I took the car. Bad Annie...

Yup, on the 2WW, I think I ovulated yesterday (CD14), so we shall see. Only got in BD on CD 13 and CD15.

How is everyone else doing?

Lisa - sorry you're so stressed out. Hope this week gets better! I got in Butt's and Guts yesterday, but today was a bust.

Anne

Hope everyone is doing okay. I've had a loooong week and it's only Wednesday! Seems like everyone else is busy also.

Anne - I'm in the 2ww also! I think I'm 2DPO according to my temp. It took a big dip on CD14 and went back up yesterday and today. I didn't bother to check CM because I had so much other things on my mind. I did get to bd on CD12 and 13 only though. I was too tired the last two days and DH had a cold also.

WARNING, kind of long. Just needed to get it out. Anyway, it's been stressful for me because my dad had shoulder surgery last week and I've been having to drive into town which is an hour away to help my mom get here and there since she doesn't like to drive at certain times of the day. He got out of the hospital last week and was doing good. However, on Monday he had to go in for a follow-up visit with the orthopedic surgeon and ended up passing out in the exam room right as we were leaving because he was dehydrated and hadn't eaten anything with his meds. It was a total scare, but he ended up being fine, but because he passed out/fainted, they wanted him to go see the cardiologist and then the cardiologist wanted him to take a blood test to make sure he wasn't anemic which ended up taking the whole morning. I didn't get into work until about 1pm and I was flooded with work. I anticipated getting into work around 10am and didn't plan for a longer time away. I was just grateful that my dad was fine, but it did scare me and put me back on my already backed up schedule. Not to mention after that, he got a call from his other dr. he had to follow-up with to come in the next day on Tuesday which I ended up taking him to also. And to make the day even longer, DH had a work cookout that we rsvp'ed for that we had to go to. I really wanted to skip out because I had so much work to catch up on and I just wanted to rest, but ended up going.

So it's been bad eating, no excercise and feeling blah. Thanks for letting me vent and although I want to do nothing, but relax, I'm going to squeeze in a workout tonight. Not sure which one, but I need it to release all this stress.

Hello everyone else! Please check-in when you have time! I miss reading what's going on with you gals! Like Melanie said, you all have helped me tremendously!

Lisa

hi guys

just a note from work - we are without power for last 5 days!!!! i am eating clean luckily but not exercising. i need to just get thru this and then we leave tomorrow for 8 days. hoepfully dh will be home!

bye for now, will try to post later.

Morris- Yikes! No power for 5 days!!! I hope your power is restored soon. Are you going on a vacation?

Lisa, I am happy your dad is ok. It sounds like you need to take some time to relax.

Anne, I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Melanie, I am inspired that you have stopped MDs. I wish I had your discipline.

I had a great workout week last week... 6 days of CTX (with some spinervals to save my knees). This week... Spinervals on Sunday and nuttin' else. :-(

Toodles!
Autumn

sorry so brief earlier. i have just felt socompletely overwhelmed and exhausted and alone. luckily, ds is so happy. he doesn't care if i don't exercise or don't sleep or don't bathe....

i hate having my routine upset. it is so silly to complain with all that has happened in the country this week, but my life did feel difficult.. on a plus note, i did run this am b/c dh was home - with my dog! oh well - in 2 weeks i will get back to my routine.

as for our "vacation", i am going to my sister's wedding - will be lots of family drama, which is not pleasant. then we spend 5 days with my inlaws. they are nice people, but 5 days is 3.5 too many for me. also, after 27 days of dh gone, i am ready for some quality time with just us and ds.

but, that is it for now.

mel, great disipline - i applaud you
anne, good luck as well.
lisa, sorry things have been so stressful. take it easy this weekend and regroup
autumn, enjoy those spinervals

Morris, have fun with the in-laws. As for me, I have a great time with the in-laws when we're around them, but then they don't ever keep in touch. It's so weird. They send lots of gifts for holidays, they're just awful at keeping in touch...then they think they know us so well. 5 days without electricity? Didn't you pay your electric bill? LOL :D :D

Lisa, wow...being a caregiver is so much work...I'll be praying for you. I find that I'm less patient with issues such as that when I'm unable to workout. Hopefully you'll find some time to workout and release some tension!

Autumn, I've never done spinervals. Is that spinning with intervals? Do you go to the gym for that?

Ann, you used many acronyms in your message...and I have no idea what they mean! Urgh! I'm so acronym illiterate! I'm sorry. :)

Last month I had my period on the 22nd. My breasts are tender today, so I think I'm PMSing. Hopefully my period flow won't be as heavy this time around.

Nice to finally hear from you ladies...slow week at the boards...

Hope everyone is having a good Friday and plans for a fun weekend. Let's see...

Morris - Hope you and DH are enjoying some quality time before heading out to your vacation. Not having power is not fun. I'm such an electonic addict.

Autumn - Is spinervals that workout with the bar? I think I seen it on tv before. I'm confused about if I was fertile by my temp or o'ed according to my CM. My temp dropped and then went up but didn't rise this morning like yesterday. And I noticed watery CM today and EWCM couple days back after my temp dip. We'll see. Can you check my chart? What I really need to do is stop obsessing and let it happen when it does.

Anne - How's everything going? How many more days before testing? Can you also check out my chart since I know you're experienced with it!

Melanie - BD=babydance, in other words sex
2ww = 2 week wait (after ovulation before you either get your period or test)
dpo = days past ovulation
cm = cervical mucous
ewcm = egg white cervical mucous
I think I got most of them covered!

I didn't work out couple days back, but I went for a run yesterday which felt great. I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. Like Morris said, I feel bad about complaining about my life with all that has happened this week in Virginia. I should be grateful. I've been eating okay. Not extremely bad, but not extremely good either. Went to the beach today for dd's field trip and I'm wiped out. I have a "passion party" to go to tonight. Anyone ever been? Also called "slumber party" I believe. Have a great Friday!

Lisa

Lisa, how was your passion party? :D :D I was thinking passion party was some lingo for hot passionate sex or something. :D :D all you arconyms and all, I just didn't know! LOL Sorry, I don't know enough about CM & Temps to give you any advice. I was CM charting for about 14 days, then I stopped... I'll try again next cycle. :)

I'm having a hard time making heads or tails of your chart. You don't have cross hairs yet, so it looks like FF hasn't indicated ovulation for you yet. Your temps have to be high for at least 3 days for it to give you the horizontal and vertical cross hairs that will indicate your Follicular and Luteal phases. Your temps are kind of whacky. Are you taking them at the same time each morning before you get up? Are you getting at least 3 full hours of sleep before you take it? Those are all critical to getting consistent temps.

I'd guess that you might have ovulated on CD16, but can't be sure. You could use fertility stick for one month and add those to your chart. Then you'll have a good idea of when you ovulate. FF will take those into consideration too, when determining your ovulation day. The problem is, is that there's no consistent dip or rise in your temps. I can try to send you my chart too, so you get an idea of what one looks like.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions!
