Hey there ladies!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I had a lot of fun last night at the food/wine tasting. Drank a lot of wine and tasted a lot of food. I'm trying to fight this cold off that I just caught. I ended up with 3 workouts last week. Still working on the eating.

Anyway, I have to get my Sunday going. Got a bunch of things to get done today.

Hope to hear from all of you soon!

Lisa

Hi everyone! Whew, what a week. I worked my 40 hrs, drove for 12 hrs, and then picked up a mini-shift in my local town pharmacy (4 hrs). I"m beginning to feel quite spent (not to mention my workouts are bleak). I worked out once this week. :(

The good news is my local town pharmacy can use me more, I will try to incorporate hours there and shrink my hours at the other pharmacy a little so I can spend more time with my family. I love my family so much & it breaks my heart when I can't be with them. :( I WILL find a way!

Okay, enough whining.) I really love it here in Northern MN, it's sooooooo beautiful and the colors are just about ready to peak. We had our first frost last night.

TTC. I actually took a pg test this week b/c my boobs have been super sensitive and I only had a 3 day period, with a short period of brown spotting. I just got a $1 test at the dollar store, but it came back negative. My boobs are still sensitive, maybe I should re-test? Nah, I'll wait to see what happens at end of month (when menses should arrive).

Okay ladies, which one of you are ovulating this week?

melanie, come on, no suspense please!!! any bleeding? any pregnancy test? glad you can be more local for a bit. i used to drive all over the state for my job all day every day. i hate the car and sitting still. being close with less commute is huge.

lisa, glad you had a fun time saturday. i'd love to go to something like that with a girlfriend. i'll settle for a walk with a buddy though. i find i crave time to talk to girls. maybe why i am online so much.

hi anne and autumn. jen, are you okay?

i had a great mini vacation. yesterday we went for a bike ride together. not much exercise persay, but just beautiful in the woods. i ran both days, so i feel good about that. i also indulged in icecream both daysx( oh well. it was a vacation. back to reality. dh leaves tomorrow for a 2 week trip, and if all goes well, i will have a visit from af next week. fingers crossed.;-)

Morris, I won't test again unless I don't get AF. I actually think my body's preparing to ovulate now or something b/c I have lots of mucous.

Anyone else have any experience with dollar store pg tests?!?

My 13 year old and I are planning a 5K race in Canada this weekend. :D

I'm due to ovulate this week! :7 Wish me luck!

I'm at work so can't post much, but I can't seem to shake this darn cold. Anyway, be back later!

Lisa

Well, hello ladies. I am back, and I am doing well (thanks for all of you who have been asking). I have been really busy the past few weeks with starting school (I teach 1st grade). I have such an excellent class this year with low numbers and an assitant:7 . The class I had last year almost threw me over the edge, so I am so glad these children are so much better behaved!

I did get those ovulation test strips from babyhopes, and I did use them, but not consistently because of starting school. It is such a transition from being off in the summer, so now that I am back in a routine I can be more consistent (and post regularly again).

Melanie, I did get AF today (a perfect 28-day cycle), but like you my boobs are still sore, but I am NOT preg.

I am still TTC, but not upset at all about getting AF (well, maybe a little bit). I was very upset last month because of all the pos. tests. The doctor said it could have been a chemical pregnancy (due to changing hormones) or a very early miscarriage. I did just order the book Taking Charge of your Fert because I had heard so much about it.

Did you get a load of Cathe's video clip? I am so excited!!!

Talk to you soon!
-Jen

Hi ladies,
Have you seen the promo for the new dvd's? I'm super excited to get them I can't wait! I've started riding bike too. DH re-built an old road bike for me and I can't tell you how only a few rides have changed my legs. Slimming them down. But, I had the 24 hour flu this last weekend, so the last few days haven't been very fruitful and I had a massage today and didn't want to ruin that by exercising afterwards.

I'm in my 2WW now and had temp hike today, so hoping that's a good sign, but I've had high temps before and it turned out to be just a normal cycle.

Melanie - Sorry about the test, but you just never know. I usually wait until either the first day before I'm expected to get my period or the day of. That way I don't get too disappointed from testing too soon. I've been known to be a testaholic in the past!

Hi Morris - Are you getting the new dvd's?

Hey Lisa - How are you doing? Have you O'd yet?

Jen - So glad that you like your class! I'm sorry about last month. I didn't know you had positive tests...:( Hang in there.

Nothing new for me, just trying to lose weight and exercise consistently. May join the YMCA to start swimming, but still need to check that out.

Later,
Anne

Hi Jen!!! So good to hear from you!!! I'm glad you're doing good. Sounds like an early miscarriage to me, but what do I know??!! Anyway, I'm glad your class is behaved this year!!

Anne - Sending lots of baby dust to you on your 2ww. I'm just waiting to o. If I don't get pg this cycle I need to order more opks. I'm totally excited about the new Cathe workouts after watching the preview! I'm glad you're over the flu.

Melanie - Well....? No pressure to test from me, but I sure am curious!

Hi Morris, Anne!

I better get going. I have to start my day. I got up late this am and the traffic is apparantly really bad. x( I worked on everyday this week so far so let's hope it stays good. The eating needs to be better. Ate some chocolate that my in-laws brought home from a trip and I just need to be more disciplined. Okay, catch you guys later!!

Lisa

Hi Lisa- we are on the same cycle. Ovulation due this week but DH is OOT (out-of-town). I am back on the fence about #3 though so it is cool.

Wow Melanie! That is a lot of hours devoted to work and commuting... I'd be wiped out.

Morris, glad you enjoyed your mini-vacation. I miss biking outdoors. :(

Jen, I am sorry about the possible chemical pregnancy.

Anne, you are so lucky to have a YMCA. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I completed 4 workouts last week and 4 so far this week. My eating still needs improvement. I am seeking diettogo.com help... so we shall see.

hi gals

autumn, great workouts! still on the kbs? what is diettogo like? i was thinking of joining ww or something to help me with my eating. let me know what you think.

lisa, anne i am wishing you both lots of baby luck.

jen, great to hear from you. how is your class this year?

hi melanie - will you be permanent at the local pharmacy?

it was a gorgeous fall day here. i got to run the dog this am and mow the lawn too:( but, outdoor time was great. ds discovered a great mud puddle in the driveway - boy did he have fun. i made a big pot of ratatouille for the rest of the week, so today, my eating has been really good. lets just try to ekep it up....

Autumn - I get like that too about #3 sometimes. It's like now that it's taking so long I go back and forth. There are days when I'm like yes, please and others I'm wondering why I'm putting myself through this. Good job with the workouts! Do tell about diettogo.com!

Morris - What is ratatouille? I thought of ww also.

So I worked out 3x this week. I'm planning on doing a weight workout this afternoon. Not sure which one since I've been mostly doing cardio lately. My eating has been okay, but I have to seriously stop the snacking! Hoping for a good day today.

Happy Thursday ladies!

Lisa

Hi! I had the day off today (for Rosh Hashanah). Both my DH and I were off since our districts were closed. It was nice to be off, but the day went too fast. Do you ever feel that God is playing a joke on you? I felt like that today when I went to the playground with our son, Andy. There were kids and parents galore, and there were 4 pregnant women. Then, later in the afternoon, my good friend (who wasn't "really" TTC, called to say that she is pregnant. Then, right after that, I went to pick up a pizza I had ordered (by that time I needed it). The lady who waited on me was very pregnant, and when I was driving through the parking lot to go home, I had to stop and let a pregnant woman cross. I mean, come on!!!!!!!!! I have NEVER in my life seen so many pregnant women in one day (and yes, I would have noticed even if I wasn't TTC).

So now after pizza and a trip for some sherbet, I feel better. I did take a run this afternoon while DS was sleeping and DH was home. At least I did that.

Things are a little crazy here with mother-in-law. My DH is close with her, and she's had diabetes since last Feb. She has lost a ton of weight (doc. thought because of diabetes). Anyway, she had been complaining to stomach pain ever since. She went to the ER last Sat because she was in so much pain (stomach and back), and the dr's ran some more tests. They believe it's pancreatic cancer, but not totally sure. It is now almost a week later, and they still don't know what is wrong. It is not in her stomach or colon. they are doing a liver biopsy tomorrow, and then will check the pancreas further. We know the reality of this diagnosis, but are trying to remain as positive as we can until we know exactly what is wrong, and how bad it is. He is close with his whole family, so this is pretty hard. Please keep my DH and mother-in-law in your prayers. Thanks!
-Jen

Jen - ((((HUGS))))) I will definitely say a prayer for you MIL and DH. I hope it's nothing serious. Sorry about seeing all those preggos. I went through the same thing. I swear after my miscarriage, everyone around me was pregnant! I'm like okay, this is so not cool.

I'm going to do GS CT after posting this then head to bed. Trying not to get frustrated with my cycles.

Morris - PMSing yet?

Lisa

hey everyone

lisa, rataouille is like a big veggie stew - squash, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, onion, garlic. i added a little beans to mine and some cheese. i loovvvveeee it. only labor intensive part is the chopping. no pms for me yet, but i am a bit down since dh left. first few days it is just me going thru the motions. this morning i only wanted to put my head under the pillow for a few more hours. i got u[ and forced my way thru kpc and feel a bit better. i think if i can eat really clean and go for a walk with ds and dd(dear dog:)), i will feel good about my day.

jen, i remember when i was on month 12 of ttc the first time i went to a squadron party with dh - 12 of the 16 wives were pregnant!! if you don't laugh, you just cry i think. sending prayers for your mil for sure.

hi melanie - is it freezing in your neck of the woods yet?

hi autumn, hi anne.

ttyl

Morris - That sounds yummy! Sorry you're alone again. I give you military wives lots of credit! How did your eating go?

I finally got a positive opk today!! Send prayers and thoughts my way that maybe this will be the month.

No workout tonight yet. I might go walking. I should take my dd(dear dog) ;) also.

Lisa

lisa, i have faith this is your month!!

i am pretty proud of yesterday, especially as i felt so darn low. i ate 90%clean and did exercise. today is a rainy day here. i slept in (for me) until 6am, so, i will have to manage a workout later on. i just could not force my way out of bed. i so hope this is pms fatigue.

no exciting plans for us this weekend. one of my clients gave me a box of fall clothes and a box of toys for ds. yeahhhh!! i love handme downs! now i just have to organize everything and wash it all. ds will need a snowsuit this year and some shoes, but otherwise nothing i don't think.

how is everyone else? any plans for the weekend? if lisa is ovulating, some of you other ladies must be to, or close anyways. i hope you catch the egg!!

Quck Update:
My 13 year old & I ran our first 5K together this morning! We ran in Rainy River Ontario...our first trip out of the country. It was so exciting and new, we are truely less than 5 minutes from Canada. It was fun, we both placed 2nd in our age group, and that little speed demon beat me!!!!!
I did throw up yesterday, I'm guessing it was a stomach bug, not PG...but hopeful neverthless. My boobs don't hurt anymore, which would be odd for me if I were pg. :)

melanie, i hope you are pregnant. being sick is just awful. congrats on the run and finishing 2nd - that is great. i bet canada is lovely. did you get quite ill 1st trimester with your other pregnancies?

sad day here. i had to euthanize my coworkers dog. it was a good decision, and i was glad she did not have to do it herself. it was still hard nonetheless.

ds is up from his nap, and we are going out for a walk with the dog. hope everyone is havinga good saturday

Melanie - Congrats on the 5K with your 13 yr old! Hope you're pg and not having some kind of stomach bug! Wow, you're that close to Canada? That's cool.

Morris - Sorry about your coworker's dog. My neighbor's dog died last week and that was really sad. He had tumors in his liver. Good job on the eating and workout.

I am going to try and relax before having to head out again to my sister's place for her bday. No workout today and yesterday, but did 4 in all this week. I've been running around all day so it feels like I've been working out! Have a nice weekend everyone!
