Morning Ladies -
I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I've had horrid neck pain/headaches for 3 days now. I didn't EVEN feel like doing cardio this morning. It seems the more fit I get, the harder and harder I have to work to get my HR up and it's becoming more of a "chore" than fun!
I ended up doing Kelly's Step Boxing. This is usually an intense workout for me, but my HR only hovered around 140-145 most of the time and it took a while to even elevate! I was a bit frustrated again with the coreography as I've not done this in a while. Workout was 55" and I burned 485 calories.
Jen - I've been thinking the same way that you have RE: STS. It's been a while since I've done a heavy/split rotation, as I've been focusing on circuits -- so I'm thinking I'll just wait until STS gets here and "shock" my body. I really need to lose some weight. I don't why these pounds are hanging on for dear life.
Yve - I forgot to answer you about Jill Miller's Spinal Tune UP. I guess I don't care for her practices much cuz they each focus on one body part and I guess I'm more into the "total body" yoga experience? not sure if this is the reason...but I just don't click with Jill's DVDs and everyone at VF is crazy about her. She's good...but I wish she'd do a total yoga routine to encompass several parts of the body. Does that make sense?
Kel - Glad you're getting back into the workouts.
Did I mention that I just purchased a 20# weighted vest off of Amazon? I got free Super Saver Shiping or it would have been around $28 just for shipping. It's not as fitted or sleek as Cathe's or other expensive models, but I didn't want to spend much. I hope it's comfortable enough, as I'm extremely sensitve. I want to use it walking on the Treadmill and for leg workouts.
My little Brookie has urinated on the basement floor a couple times over the last couple of days. I don't know what's wrong with her, but I hope it's just a bladder infection and nothing more serious....or even just a behavioral issue. She's never done this before...so I'm hoping that it won't become a habit. I hope my DH has time to take her to the Vet when he gets home from work.
Have a great day ladies.
