Morning Yogini's -
his morning I did Turbo Jam Cardio Party 1 and added some intensity to it to make it more intense. Workout was 45 minutes and I burned 317 calories. This reading should be correct since my resting heartrate did come down this morning. I also did Rainbeau Mars Pure Tranquility restorative yoga (30"). Short workout today, as I have that job interview at Coca Cola this morning.
Kel & Jen - I prefer to be on the computer in the evening versus watching TV. The comment about spending time with the DH cracked me up. When you've been married as long as we have, you have separate rooms. He has the living room and I have the family room! He prefers it that way! All he does is watch TV and fall asleep on the couch anyway!
Jen - I posted comments about SWAT over at Hardcore. I usually repeat the cardio segments in the YBBs to make them longer. It works quite well. All you have to do is hit the back button and it should take you right to the beginning of the cardio. Then you can actually put your all into it since you already reveiewed the steps! I'm thinking of getting Soul Sweat. Someone said it's for sale on Overstock.com. Now that you have tried YBB, do you think I'll like Soul Sweat? Can you compare them at all?
Yve - I actually bought the size shoe I normally wear in a sneaker with the Saucony's. I think that person must be referring to street shoes or something.....cuz I usually wear a 9.5 in sneakers and the 9.5's fit me perfectly. If you get them, let me know how you like them. I love mine. Just wore them for Turbo Jam this morning. If you can afford it, I'd get the cross trainers and the running shoe to change up. Like I said before....the cross trainers are mid ankle so they have excellent ankle support and even though they lack the amount of cushioning under the front of the foot that the other one's have...they are still a very good shoe. They look really cool in the black with the plum trim also!
Meg - I hope you have time to do Rainbeau's Dawn soon. I look forward to hearing your comments re: the belly pumping and if it helps with stomach distress for you like it does for me.
Thanks for all of the well wishes re: the interview. I'm trying to be confident here .........although it's a challenge.
By the way, Unemployment investigated and ruled in my favor saying that I was fired unjustly. So, I thought everything was settled, and now I get a notice to stop my benefits cuz the information they got from the hospital states I called my supervisor and quit my job at the hospital for "family reasons".......but actually I was bumped from my position....so they obviously were looking at the wrong file when they filled the paper out.......so now my benefits are being "reviewed and investigated" to stop benefits. I tell ya!!!! It's always something, isn't it.
Have a lovely day everyone. I'll be around later.
