Trying To Fit Yoga In for Thursday June 26

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did WSFL Cardio. Six rounds of 60/120 intervals...but I did them more like 60/70. I got my HR up to 168 on one of them. For the 20 minute segment, I did Mindy's Med Ball Madness with a wimpy 4 lb ball and dropped to 2 pounds for one of the leg combos (as my legs are fatigued from yesterdays workout). Workout was 57" and I burned 538 calories with cool down and stretch. I like the stretch in this workout, as she uses the med ball for assistance and it changes the dynamics of the stretching.

Yve - good to hear from you. I'm glad you'll be starting to get out and exercise with other Mom's. Sounds perfect. When are you planning on being able to start your Pilates classes again? I know how much you enjoyed those.

Hi ladies,

Today I went out for a 1 hour walk... a scorching 28 degrees today..but it's nice to be out in the sunshine..albeit very sweaty!
Tonight I will do Power Yoga for Happiness 30 min session.

Lora - It's interesting that Mindy uses the Med ball for stretching.. in pilates class we have always used them primarily for ab work - and also some leg work. Glad you enjoyed it. I started back at pilates last week. The instructor at the new studio that I joined while I was pg - allows me to bring the baby along - and he just sits in his car seat while I do my class. I would like to start back at the old group class that I was going to previous to that.. Some feltengrais infused pilates would really help me right now.. My shoulders are really bothering me- as are my knees. I think the extra weight has got to go by the end of the summer.. and I really have to focus on dropping it - as I don't want to have life long joint issues. How have you been feeling lately? How are you doing with the sweets? I threw out 3 little tubs of haagen daaz today - and I gave my brother whatever chocolates we had in the house.....Out of sight - out of mind.... I have to start being better about my diet...and DH has decided to diet also... We both need to lose between 20 and 25 lbs... I am hoping that if we support eachother - we will meet our goals.
