Trying to fit Yoga In for Thursday 2-7

Morning Ladies -

his morning I did Cardio Coach 3 on the treadmill and just a little bit on the eliptical, skipped the cool down and then did Hip Hop Abs Fat Burning Cardio and part of Hip Hop Abs Ab Sculpt. Cardio with abs and cool down was 1 hour and 25 minutes and I (only) burned 543 calories. I then did Adrienne Reed's Power Yoga - Ultimate Flexibility (50 minute segment). Had to cut my workout a bit short today, as I have to go to do the grocery shopping and dentist.

I don't know if anyone's interested in Hip Hop Abs....but I thought it was fun, Sean has a great personality, it got my heart rate up, and felt it working my abs. When I previewed this last night, I wasn't sure I'd like it or that it would get my HR up. The moves were relatively easy to pick up (except had for a few that will take a bit of practice). The ab portion was done mostly standing and was a bit dancy. It also had a few moves done on the floor.

My foot is hurting in the arch towards the heel. I don't know what hapened to it, or I just might need new sneakers and I know the DH won't agree to me buying a pair.

Gotta run.....and do my neck stretches so I can go to the grocey store. Be back later.
 
Hi ladies! I had my fat % assessment today and here are the results:

Starting stats(05/18/2006):

Weight 172.5
Body Fat 28.5%
Tricep 21 mm
Bicep 3 mm
Back 18 mm
Hip 16 mm

Today's stats:

Weight 165
Body Fat 18%
Tricep 5 mm
Bicep 2 mm
Back 12 mm
Hip 6 mm

The nutritionist originially set my goals of 159 lbs and 22% body fat. We are still keeping 159 lbs, but since I made my goal body fat %, we lowered it again to 15%. Pretty happy with those results! :) Let my DH know and he said...sorry he hasn't noticed it more but it's kinda like watching paint dry. x( Do they always know just what to say or what?!? x(

Anyway, as a "reward" I purchased Turbo Jam Maximum Results and On the Ball WOs today. Couldn't wait any longer! :)

Lora-I am definately interested in Hip Hop Abs-do go on!!! Although I could do without all the other stuff (diet plans, etc) that come with the workouts-I do think Beachbody puts out quality programs. How's the music on it? Is it similar to Turbo Jam's music or worse/better? Also meant to say yesterday-thanks for saying that you like checking in w/ me & Meg-I am glad you are sticking with the thread for as long as it is viable. I really enjoy your posts too!

I have not decided whether I am working out tonight or not. I usually rest on Fridays, but I feel like I need rest today and may WO tomorrow instead.
