Morning Yoga Ladies -
This morning I did CIA Criss Cross Cardio with 10 minutes of the standing leg portion of the DVD and a small portion of Tae Bo Amped Full Throttle (just to check it out). I only did a total of 70" of aerobics and burned 420 calories. I did most of my cardio on the rebounder for my foot. I guess I'll have to back off running until it stops with this PF problem. Also won't be using the 3 lb Amped bar for one-handed punches...as my shoulders are hurting BAD this morning and I tried that yesterday.
I keep forgetting to mention my evening Kundalini segments. I did Yoga Bliss Hips 30" Quick Hips one evening, Beginners & Beyond Spinal series another evening and last night I did Fat Free Yoga - Warm up and Open Up segment. Trying to get my fair share of Kundalini in.
My glasses fell apart again this morning....so I have to try to get into my optician....as I can't see that well out of my contacts.
I was curious about Full Throttle cuz I saw someone post over at VF that they thought it was similar to the old Tae Bo Lives and they also said they liked Super Charged Fat Burner. SCFB was my fave Amped so far....so I wanted to see how Full Throttle was. I don't think I did enough of it to give it a fair chance. However, I don't remember if the Tae Bo Lives ever had any single time moves in them like Amped. I guess I'm going to have to dust one of my Tae Bo Live Advanced volumes off to give a spin and see (soon).
Jen - I've never heard of Inhale. Is it good. Do you like the instructor? Does it have lots of twists, forward bends and hip openers, as well as plough and shoulderstand? Yes, I believe 2 of the Slim Series set are 90 min tapes and the rest are 60. Debbie Siebers is okay as instructor. She's sort of low key. The Slim Series can be extremely boring........if you don't jam your own music! The moves are very easy to pick up....so no thought process. Some of them ...like the 90 min ones are a bit neverending.....but it's a good series for slimming down. P90 Masters is meant to be a stepping stone between the original P90 series and P90X. I like the series a lot cuz they are shorter and work well for days you're pressed for time. They range from 45" to 60". He always does a good long stretch on them. Sometimes I even repeat a segment to make it a bit longer. I like them a lot.....especially the Sculpt one, Plyo Legs and Interval Cardio. All very good IMO. As mentioned above, I've been trying to fit my Kundalini back in. Thanks for the advice about the job. You're a very "level" headed person! I appreciate your feedback. Although, I haven't been offered anything yet.....but I'm just so worried that everything's going to make it so difficult to know what sign I'm supposed to see from God (in answer to all of my prayers) and that I'll end up in the wrong place yet again.
Yve - I didn't know you were from Canada. What part? Wow, I was in Missisauga, Ontario (spelling) once in February LONG AGO and it was so cold there. I could never live there, but I guess you get used to it? Re: the insomnia....I'm so sorry you suffer from it. I haven't been able to sleep for the past 7 nights without taking something. I think all of this job stress is getting to me. I keep thinking about everything that "might" happen and my mind goes 100 miles a minute. I've only been able to sleep about 4 hours a night. I usually only get 5 a night when I'm working. Since I suffer from insomnia all of the time (especially when I'm working) - I have to sleep deprive myself. If I get 6 hours of sleep a night or two in a row, I'll be up for 3 days.....as it's too much sleep for me. I don't know why I'm like this. I know it's not good for me, but if you can't sleep, you can't sleep. (ditto to what I said to Jen about job advice....thanks for your advice). By the way, the Health Care sytsem is this country needs some major work!!
Well, now that I've written another book............I'll be back later.
