Morning Ladies - or jen if you're around.
This morning I did a Warp Cardio Day. I did 4 rounds of 60 sec hard intervals followed by 2" of eaiser ones and then did 5 minutes at an easy pace and 20 minutes at a moderate pace 6-10/10 and then cool down and stretch. I used the Ellipitcal for the hard intervals and then alternated walking with my weighted vest on the TM on an incline, punching and kicking the heavy bag, and then did some Kettlebell Smoke Drills....jogging on the treadmill with kettlebell swings. Total cardio with cooldown and stretch was 55" and I burned 487 calories. (oh and this is the first time I ever ran on the incline all the way up .....I never used to be able to do that...as it's hard on my low back - hope my back will be okay tomorrow between that and all the Swings).
I also did Tias Little's River Flow Yoga - 55". Finally, a yoga workout that felt great! I was beginning to wonder what was going on!
Have a great Sunday everyone.
Jen - yes, I have to love Alwyn already. I've never gotten this sore lately, nor have I been able to get the scale to move in ages. I might play around and try NROL Fat Burn workout or Afterburn one the rest of the week just to get a "feel" for it. I also spent quite a bit of the day yesterday printing and looking over various Turbulunce Training workouts by Craig Ballantyne....but I'm so impressed with Alwyn, that I think I'll try those before I try a TT one. TT looks interesting, but they use a lot of bodyweight exercises. It's similar to Alwyn's theories, but slightly different. Yes, my DH booked the room and flight for Vegas. We're going in debt big time to go....but we're afraid if I get a job (whenever), I won't be able to take a vacation and he's been working nonstop ....so he deserves a vacation. How's things with the pregnancy? All okay? No morning sickness any longer? Brookie sure will miss us when we're gone.....well, they all actually will, but she's the most spoiled cuz she's the baby. She was freaking out yesterday cuz my DH picked up the blanket off of the couch to fold it and she thought he was going to try to catch her to throw her in the cat carrier! She has been so much on edge since that traumatic experience we had capturing and caging her for those few vet visits. She's always leery of us any more! She's a wild freak! My little "special" baby ! Have a great day.
