Morning Yoginis, (Part-timers and Wannabees also) -

This morning I chose a recovery workout. I just ordered Candace Grasso's new Walk Fit CD's that I read about over at VF and they arrived yesterday, so I tried Walk Fit II. I was all set up to do it on the Treadmill and then she said it could be done on a Rebounder and I thought that was even a better idea since my joints have not been the best lately.

I did Walk Fit 2 and basically kept my knees high and my arms going and was surprised that I actually got a half decent workout. HR was 120 during rests and 140-150 during the intervals. I sprinted with fast feet the last minute of the last 4 minute interval and got my HR up to the high 150's. I did Gilad's Express workout stretch to finish and total workout was 50 minutes and I burned 427 calories.

I then did Gentle Vinyasa Flow yoga - 38" premix and it felt good. I finished off with Dr. Yoga House Call with Ravi & Ana - Anti-Arthritis segment and Immune Invigorator (since I'm fighting a cold).

Jen - I was watching the weather channel and they were showing the storms that tore threw Atlanta. Roswell is a subburb of Atlanta??? or not? Did you have bad storms? What do you and your DH have going on this weekend? Just relaxation? My DH is being a mean Prick Bas$#@@! I'm so sick of hearing him yell. He keeps telling me he's saving money to leave me and he's going to get an attorney to file for divorce when our 2 houses sell. I'm really scared cuz I can't afford to live on my own...thus the reason I put up with his crap! I shoulda been smart when I was younger and gone to school for a profession that could support me! Such is life.

Hi to everyone else. Food porn continued - it's pretty sick that I wanted to burn calories this morning cuz it's TTOTM and I want to eat some chocolate later! I LOVE chocolate! It's the best. Still cravin' those pancakes too...........as I sit here finishing my Kashi 7 grain Pilaf with touch of brown sugar and lots of cinnamon and my low fat cherry vanilla yogurt and a handful of fresh blueberries! Not quite as exciting as blueberry pancakes stuffed with cream cheese and blueberries....smothered in syrup! mmmmmmmmmm

Off to soak my weary muscles in the tub. Have great workouts or rest days everyone. Off to do my normal Saturday routine.

Hi ladies,

Popping in to say hello. Hope everyone is well.
I haven't exercised in the last few days. Did some walking - and lots of organizing and reorganizing at home.. but that is about it.
I am feeling lots of pelvic pressure - and not quite comfortable doing much other than walking.

Lora - you make me laugh with all your food porn talk. The 7 grain Kashi pilaf sounds amazing though! I don't think I have seen it in the grocery stores.. must be just in the US for now.

Have a nice evening.
Yve
