Morning Ladies - or should I say Jen!

This morning I did Xflowsion - Live In Hollywood. Workout was 1 hour 20 minutes and I burned 380 calories. It actually felt really good and I enjoyed it. I modified the jumping and running parts by putting my boot on and jumping on the rebounder (and the DH walked thru the room and yelled at me!). The kickbox segments were low impact enough to accomodate my foot also.

I'm leaning towards not starting that Afterburn rotation by Cosgrove yet. I think I'm going to continue with my Jillian circuits for now since she works all muscles. Maybe when Dallys comes back she can give me some insight into Cosgrove's way of thinking, as I know she did NROL rotations for a while.

Jen - did you see the Hardcore Thread yesterday? I posted a couple weeks of the rotation circuits out of that Afterburn (expensive book) I bought that's by Alwyn Cosgrove. The only way he has you work your bi's and tri's are the secondary way thru working lats and chest. I was going to start the rotation but I'm concerned about that and asked about it over at Hardcore but didn't get much feedback. He also only believe in doing no more than 20-30 minutes of cardio and he likes circuit weight training with HIIT cardio.......and that's basically what the program is.

Don't worry....I'm careful on the rebounder with my boot on. I don't press down real hard....so I can't really get my HR up that high. I wish my new Spinning DVDs would get here. I'm already sick of the bike and I've only been on it once so far! LOL.

I'm really mad cuz I haven't been able to smell for the last 3 days and I just got a BPAL order :(. This cold went into a sinus infection....surprise!

I hope your enjoying your day off work. So -- you like interviewing?? you're secretly evil, huh??

}(

Off to soak in the tub and we're going to see that movie Chuck and Larry later. Not a whole lot to choose from movie wise.

Have a great day.

Hi ladies! Umm...I probably should have worked out before my Harry Potter book arrived. I don't know why I didn't think of that this morning. It was literally just delivered. I am heating up my lunch now, so I don't forget to eat. I will be totally engrossed in this book! :) It will be tough not to peek at the last pages, but I am not going to do it! I am still thinking about my weigh in yesterday-it's just hard to believe I lifted heavy and immediately lost 2 pounds...even at TTOTM!!!! Maybe that's just what my body likes.

Lora-I really like interviewing a lot. I am by no means tough, but I do ask pointed questions. I really want to get to something that will show me a person's true personality. I think personality is one of the most important aspects of a candidate. You may have all the experience and credentials and such in the world, but if you don't have the right personality, those things don't mean anything. Personalities can change, but they are a harder change to make and something a company has less control over than someone who simply needs a little training. I think experience is important also, people can have a great personality but still handle things incorrectly or may not be able to do the job, but the situation is at least more workable. I needed more practice with interviewing so although the days have been more time consuming, they have given me a chance to develop my skills and find a way to ask good follow up questions.

I did not read the Hardcores thread and I am so bad about keeping up with it these days! I miss posting over there! I will check it out!

Sorry about your sinus infection. Maybe at least since you know what it is, it will at least be treatable and something that resolves quicker. It's good to see that you did Xflowsion! Any idea when he will be coming out with more DVDs? Overall, has the feedback been really, really positive for him? I hope so! I can see why he would have a big following and hope he does more in the future instead of being a 'flash in the pan". That was interesting about Cosgrove and the cardio (or lack thereof) theory.

Have a great day!

Jen
