Morning Yogini's -
This morning I did Brain Muscle Level 1 & 2 with Michael Gonzalez-Wallce. Workout was 65" and I burned 320 calories with that. I then added a bit of Core Rhythms Salsa Blast (just to check it out intensity wise) for about 20 minutes. Calorie burn went up to 400 and Salsa Blast will be a "recovery day" workout, as it was low intensity. I also did Ravi & Ana's Yoga Beauty Body 45".
These Brain Muscle workouts are functional fitness utilizing a lot of compound movements and balancing on one leg, etc. I used ankle weights for all of the leg work and my legs are fried right now (but I did a circuit yesterday and added on Lotte Berk legs....so they were fatigued).
My foot feels like it's sprained or something. It wasn't like this before the injections last week. I'll call the foot doctor when they open.
I just wanted to mention that I love Yoga Beauty Body. Has a lot of poses that make me feel "different" in a good way. Works the adrenals, liver, etc. Lots of breath of fire.
I also wanted to say that Michael Gonzalez-Wallace is such a genuinely sincere person that I'm glad I spent money on these and ordered from him. The workouts seem to be good functional fitness workouts and they are filmed in the sunny outdoors of Central Park. He emailed me a week after he shipped them to follow up on them. We have been conversing via email. He was very impressed with my exercise regimen and said that he wishes more people were into fitness like me. He has a great screen presencse and personality as well.
Jen - I've seen all of the Harry Potter movies and I'm the same way at all of them....sort of just get thru them. My DH likes them more than me. I also can't stand sitting thru Star Wars and Star Trek or Lord of the Rings. For some reason, I'm just not into those kind of movies, as much as I try to have an open mind and try to enjoy them. I really thought I was going to like this Harry Potter cuz the opening scene showed some demon creatures attacking him (or whatever they were) and I thought they may take it in a different direction, but then they went to the school with all of the teachers and it was along the same lines as the other ones. I do enjoy a good witchy/demon/devil type of movie though.
Sorry about your weigh in. I really have to buckle down and try not eating as much. I'm constantly famished and I'm trying to practice going hungry....as my scale is still 3 pounds over my "do not go over" weight. I'm going to have to be very careful on vacation also, as I can't afford to gain a few more pounds. I'm concerned cuz of my foot and I'm worried about walking in Vegas.
Kel - how was your weekend? HOw's the arm?
I have my interview with Buckle tomorrow at 3:00 pm and I'm supposed to contact a telephone company today for an interview they want to set up with me.
I'll be back later.
Have great days ladies.
