Morning Ladies -

This morning I did TLT Better Burn, Better Buns followed by Tae Bo Amped Jump Start Cardio with the Amplifier (and my rear delts and back are still sore from using it yesterday) and then I added on a couple sets of Firewalkers and did some fast skaters with my Gliding Discs. Workout was 1 hour 45 minutes and I burned 548 calories. I then did Mark Blanchard's Progressive Power Yoga Volume II - 90 minutes.

I think this Mark Blanchard DVD is one of my favorites cuz of the pose selection. Just wish it wasn't so long! I start to get distracted when I do practices that long, but it feels so good afterwards. I took a little bit of a tumble during this workout......hope I didn't hurt my neck. We were crouched down and wrapping are arms around our ankles some how and then pulling our head close to the ground and rounding our back to get a stretch thru the shoulders and I got a bit carried away with the shoulder stretch (since they always hurt so bad) and flipped over into a sommersolt and the wall was right there! Oyyy!! What a dunce cap!

Gotta go call the stupid Unemployment Office about this other freakin' questionnaire they sent me.

Jen - I'll be back to answer your Yoga Booty Ballet question shortly here.

Jen - I don't know if you'd like Yoga Booty Ballet. Can you try finding one on Ebay first and purchasing just one? I really like them and think they are fun....but I'm a bit concerned cuz you say that some of the moves in Turbo Jam seem silly. When you say that, do you mean for a kickboxing workout or in general? Cuz if you mean in general, I think you'd find YBB to be too much! YBB are dance like cardio workouts with a touch of yoga and a touch of ballet thrown in the mix. One (which is my favorite) is called Hip Hop Abs and it is a hip hop like dance workout and then they have Cardio Burlesque which is sort of like a burlesque dance and so on and so forth. Oh, and I'm talking about the Live series....as everyone seems to like the live series better than the original. The music is a live bongo drummer. You can make the workouts as hard or as easy as you want. They can be very low impact and not intense depending on how much arm movement, hip movement you put into it.

You can read people's opinions over at VideoFitness. I'm sure there are tons of threads. The YBB's are like TJ with me........they lift my spirit every time!

Hi ladies! Tonight's WO was Turbo Jam Cardio Party # 1 followed by Ravi and Ana's Fat Free Yoga-start your engines session only. I am enjoying Turbo Jam more and more all the time as I get to know it better. My Jari Love DVD did not come in today from Netflix-which is fine-I am not that excited about it.

Lora-Oh my goodness! I hope you are still doing okay after your tumble. I could totally see flipping over while doing that pose you described. They have a couple of YBB DVDs to rent, so I can just get a feel for them from there. I am getting used to the silly moves from Turbo Jam and actually kinda' liking them now. Helps get the cardio in without the dread factor. Sounds like you are getting into the Tae Bo workouts. How many varieties of those do you have? Can you make a comparison of Amped to another of his series...like Cardio Fat Blaster or Tae Bo Flex or is it really different from what Billy has done before?

Hi to Megadoo, Tammy, Kel and Janie if you guys check in later! Hope you had great days and great WOs!
