Morning Ladies -

This morning I did The Goddess KettleBell workouts - Strength and Cardio Circuit, Endurance segment and then I added on various other upper and lower body exercises and finished with abs/core. Workout was 75" (yikes) and I burned 485 calories. I think I may have overdone it a bit. I used my 15, 20 & 25 lb KB's and increased my weight with presses and swings and now my shoulders hurt (just iced them) and my glutes and upper thighs are already sore.....did lots of low squats, low side lunges and these things called Box Pistol Squats that were like a one legged-sit and stand squat with your other leg extended. We also did our lat work balancing on one leg with the other leg behind us (really brought the core into play). I listened to 3 Days Grace and Papa Roach, as there isn't any music on the KB workout. Good workout...but these KB instructor chickies need to lighten up a bit and have some fun.....SO freakin' serious.

I also did Perfect in 10 Stretch 20" and then Kundalini Yoga with Donna Davidge - The Spine & Flexibility 45". This was sort of hard for a yoga workout but my back's been hurting...so I thought it would be good for my spine. We rocked back and forth between plough and seated forward bends for a while and it felt really good...but was quite an advanced move. We moved our spine every which way.

Have great workouts everyone. My Mom's celebrating Easter today cuz we couldn't get everyone together on Sunday. I hope I don't get too carried away on the chocolate eggs and such over there....cuz I know for a fact she visited my favorite chocolate store this past week!!

Kel - I used to have those workouts you mentioned, but last time I cleaned out my videos...I pitched them. Now I'm sorry! I don't think I can ever part with my Slim Series on VHS, P90, Tae Bo Live's, Tae Bo Totals, or Tae Bo Get Ripped series and all of my original Firm on VHS. I kept all of those and a couple piles of miscellaneous ones that I put in the basement...but I got rid of a lot last time I cleaned out....cuz I needed room upstairs for DVDs....but now I need more room! I have a big box full of DVDs plus 4 DVD racks that are almost full! Never counted them....but prior to getting a DVD player, I only had VHS and just got 2 new racks for them that held 300 VHS and I filled them with my VHS.....so my collection is rather large.....if you haven't noticed!

Speaking of VHS - I just ordered Cindy Crawford's workouts on DVD...so If someone wants my VHS, just let me know (freebies - or maybe a few bucks for shipping).

I also have Gin Miller's Straight Up Stick workout on DVD that I was gonna put on Ebay for cheap. I payed $20 for it, but now I got it on another DVD...so I don't need it. It's a 38 minute workout done with a wooden dowel or mop/broom handle for your "best posture" and for flexibility, strength, stability, mobility and balance. Here's what the back of the case says

"Everyday activity involves an over abundance of forward movement - be it sitting at a desk, or the lifting and carrying of daily chores - most everything we do involves the muscles of the front of the body. These front muscles tend to stay strong and become tighter, while the relatively weaker muscles of the back become overstretched - resulting in posture that is slouched and rounded forward. Such imbalanced eventually lead to increased difficulty in maintaining correct posture...........Add to it the downward forcesof gravity and lots of sitting and posture related pain of the back, neck and shoulders beomces very real. This program can benefit anyone...........

let me know if you're interested....I'll give it away for a real bargain.....but i do need something for it.

Hi ladies,

Hope you have all been well.
Sorry I have been away for a while. We disconnected the computer and internet - as we turned the office into the nursery - and moved the computer into another room. We only got everything reorganized last night.

I have been doing lots of walking - and went to pilates yesterday. Though I think that is it for me for now - for both yoga and pilates...Will keep on walking though. I feel so much pressure - that it is hard for me to keep it up. I will be 39 weeks on Monday - and so am happy that I kept it up till now. Aside from that... have enjoyed my week off...It feels weird knowing that I won't have a job for a year.. but nice to have the freedom for now.

Lora - I hope you enjoy those Easter eggs!!! ;)

Happy Easter to all.

Hi everyone -

No workout for me today. Instead, I'm helping DH & one of our friends add on to our storage building in the backyard because that's the first step in building my new workout room. We need to make more room so we can clear everything out of the garage & then start construction there. Hopefully, I can do LIC &/or some yoga tomorrow morning.

Lora - Wow, you sure do have a lot of workouts! I used to think I had a lot but not anymore.;-) Thanks for offering those other DVDs but I think I'll have to pass. Other than a few more yoga DVDs, I think I'm all set until STS. I never did purchase P90X so I'm really looking forward to this new series & I hope we get my new workout room finished before they're released. Sorry you hurt your shoulders during your workout this morning & I hope they feel better in time for your next workout.

Yve - It's so good to hear from you! Great job keeping up with the walking... & the yoga/pilates until now too. I can't believe you'll be 39 weeks along on Monday! Sure seems like the time has flown to me. So did you get the nursery all finished?

Hi to Jen & Carrie if you pop in later. Hope you're both having a nice Friday.

Well, I better get back out there & see if they need me. Hope everyone has a great day & I'll try to check back in later if I get the chance.

Take care!
