Trying to Fit Yoga In for Friday June 27

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did WSFL Strength was heavy chest press on an incline supersetted with one arm rows. Ten minute metabolic circuits were pushup/prone jacknife and lunge/row combo followed by pullups. HIIT inteverals were 120/120 for 3 rounds with w/u & c/d ...the tough ones. I added my own stretch. Tunes were Shine Down & Nickelback. Workout was 62" and I burned 500 calories.

Yve - I'm also disgusted with myself and my weight gain. I need to lose about 15 pounds or so. I had to change out of my pastel pink tee shirt just now cuz my belly was too noticeable! I had to put on a navy one. I'm starting a food journal today. Hopefully that will help me eat better. It was suggested by a fitness friend....so we shall see. Glad you are starting to get out of the house and attend pilates, etc.
 
Hi ladies,

Today I went to strollerfitness class. It was so much fun. There were 5 other moms in the class - and it was a 60 minute power walk through a nearby park with our strollers - followed by a stretch - and then a 30 minute session of songs and rhymes for the little ones. It was good for the little guy to be around other little ones... he was so curious looking at them.

Lora - the food journal is a great idea. I know that when I have used one in the past - it really helped me to be conscious of what I eat - and in particular - how often I snack. I should start one also. I think that my issue right now is that I am eating bc I am tired...and - sometimes it is snack food. Even though my snacks are healthy - the calories can add up. For example - i had some vanilla yogourt - with meusli... both have sugar - and hence - not too figure friendly. But... I didn't have any chocolate - or ice cream today... and no baked goods either. My MIL is having us over for a bbq on Sunday - and I am going to have to really be good... she is amazing at making pastries. I feel deprived already.
