Trying something new

Hi, everyone! Haven't posted here in such a long time! I'd love to have your input on this new rotation. I recently put my jeans from last year on and they were SO snug. I don't weigh any more than I did last year, but I do believe my butt is bigger, and I'm thinking it's from working out heavy with Cathe and the Firm. So this is what I just might try: I plan to cut out lower body workouts using weights completely.
2 days of Tae Bo
2 days of Step
1 Interval tape
1 day of walking/running (or possibly rest)
3 upper body workouts (will probably be MIS or Body Max)
2 ab workouts in addition to the Tae Bo

I am hoping that the Tae Bo with the floor work will be enough for toning low body, and I'm shifting my focus to upper, because that's my weakest area. What I was doing just was not working for me. Any comments, either positive or negative would be appreciated. Has anyone thought about cutting the lower body workouts or do you think it would do more harm than good? Thank you so much!

Jackie,

I've never tried to do that, but what about maybe doing lower body just 1 days a week. Do you the PS Series? Or the new 6-pak? MIS would work well too. Also instead of no weights, use lighter weights. Maybe 8 or 10lbs. Well, this is just my humble opinion, keep at least 1 day of lower body and lighten the weights. Hope this helps!

My experience

I build in the legs fast and find that light weights with high reps keeps them from bulking up.
I wish my upper body would bulk a little bit. Anyway, I think you should keep in lower body workouts with low weight high reps..

Thanks

I will try to do that instead, maybe only once a week. I don't have either the new six pack or PS, I was going to finish this rotation and get the rest for Christmas

! Anyway, I'm fairly new to Cathe and I had to stop at somewhere with buying the tapes, so I've mastered the older ones first and when I'm done with this I'll move on to the new ones. I may go ahead and get PS now, though, as I think it would fit this rotation well! Thanks so much for your input!
