Tried Billy Blanks's Bootcamp for Abs

Meant to mention this yesterday, I did it on Sunday right after a Turbo Jam workout. It was pretty good--not anywhere near as intense as Core Max but a better core workout than pilates IMO.

Just thought I'd share........:)
 
Are there any other ab workouts that one could recommend? I would like more medicine ball and stability ball exercises. I have all of Cathes. What about the mindy mylrea? I saw that she had an ab workout. Has anyone any opinions on it?
 
You might check out Gin Miller's Extreme Strength on the Ball. It has a bonus stability and med ball workout that is 40 minutes. I don't do the main strength workout, I bought it really for the ball workout. I was much more sore after that than doing coremax. It is very slow paced with a lot of instruction which you can do bonus reps or just rest during that. I was surprised at how sore I was the next day.

Was it mostly standing type work? that's what I am looking for. I have Turbo Jam abs, but want another.. also, how long is it? Thanks!
 
About 2/3 of it was standing. It's 30 minutes long. Also, the standing portion can be considered something of a light cardio workout, so it was good to do right after kickboxing.

I just got both All About Abs & All About Legs, and I sincerely hope that AALegs is substantially better than AAAbs. I was hugely disappointed. I didn't think it was all that challenging - just when it *started* to get challenging, that particular move would end and she'd move on to something that I found either totally ridiculous or ineffective. I've tried 3 of the 4 segments, and only like the body weight segment. Some of the plank work on the stability ball I really liked, but that was a small portion of the workout, unfortunately, as I pretty much didn't like the rest of it. Actually, that's too strong. I thought it was ok. But no great shakes, that's for sure.

To top it off, the background exercisers are routinely dropping the medicine ball, falling off the stability ball, losing their balance during some moves, etc. It's like she randomly grabbed people off the street and asked them to be in a video with her. And to me, she seems VERY nervous or uncomfortable or something - she endlessly chatters about absolutely NOTHING, which is annoying when a form pointer or two would be helpful.
