Training abs

I read recently that you should train your abs hard (like any other muscle; up to 20 mins) just 2 days a week, to get better results. Does anyone agree with this?
I have to admit, I skimp on abs, rushing through them, unless I'm following Cathe on video:)- maybe that's why I have no tone there!

Hi, Lis1! I disagree that you should do fewer ab workouts but longer sessions. I work out 5X per week, and spend about 10 minutes per workout on abdominals. Anything less than that, and I start slumping!

Length of time is not necessarily synonymous with challenge. You can challenge your abs a lot without going on forever!
