Trader Joes = Clean Food

Goodmorning everyone hope you are all having a pleasant morning

I mentioned in a previous post that I was going to be making my first trip to TJ's soon and I did and was very happy and I found lots od yummy food to eat. The most appettizing things I found were a Spinach/cheese pie, buffalo burgers, and these salmon patties stuff with spinach and something else. These things were so delicious especially the salmon.

Are these frozen foods from TJ really clean and a healthy choice to make?
Please say yes!!!!LOL

sorry, but no, they don't really count as clean. Anything called "pie" is not clean. I love pie, I make pies, I bake pies and occasionally I have eaten some pie but I'm pretty sure that since these were processed foods they don't count as a clean food item. TJ's has great non-clean foods, Jo Jo's, pie crusts, ice cream. They also have clean foods: fresh vegetables, dairy (for some), they even have goats milk and cheese. I think the bags of shredded cabbage or broccoli count. But, hey if you didn't gain any weight from that, so what?

I don't know if they count as "clean" but I personally enjoy frozen Amy's entrees or Trader Joe's stuff a couple times a week for lunch/dinner. I don't think it's THAT bad as long as you enjoy it in moderation like everything else. I think they are certainly better than most of the other frozen stuff in the regular grocery store...and cheaper!
