Can you tell me? If you get the new Squeeze Stronger, is there any point to also getting the Squeeze Lower Body DVD? Are the lower body sections of each DVD almost identical, or so different they are like separate workouts and therefore worth getting both?

What do you think?

Thanks!

Clare

Hi Clare,

I bought both, but haven't previewed LB yet as it's supposed to be an Xmas present (shhhh!) :D From the clips of LB, the exercises look very different than SS. For example, LB includes static lunges done on tippy toes and a series of straight leg lifts done at different angles (front, diagaonal back).

Have you watched the clips at totalfitnessdvds.com? They are longer than those at collage. There might be a breakdown of the exercises at VF. I'll go see if I can find it.

ETA: Ha! Success! I copied this from another VFer's post so this isn't my information or thoughts:

"...It was deceiving at first as she starts out with just 20 reps of deadlifts & I was thinking ok...not too tough and then...it got much tougher. Picture Karen Voight GWW floorwork but standing. Ouch!!
Deadlifts 20 quick reps with weights
Tip Toe lunges- can't remember how many reps but I think 2 sets and I did get a nice burn.
Sissy squats/plie type of move- very tough, lots of reps & my thighs were on fire, I had to take little breaks.
Step back lunges- 20 reps each leg for 3 sets (60 reps per leg!). She picks up weights for the last two sets. This was a struggle for me to finish & fried my legs.
Leg lift series- tough standing leg lift series with 4 sets (each set has a different focus (#1-front leg lift for quads, #2 side/glute lifts reminded me of pure barre & fluidity glute lifts, #3 side leg lifts, #4 hamstring & glute work,
knee is bent back with lots of glute & leg pulses).

There are some stretches sprinkled in. She said to do this 3xs a week and I'm thinking, no wonder she looks so good!..." HTH!

Thanks Jonahnah:

I'll check out the totalfitness clips too, I always forget the name of that site when I want to look at clips. Do the Tracy DVDs have any dread factor for you? I'm wondering if I should just stick with Cathe's Butts and Guts, which I have never actually done yet......

I've got my eye on the Squeeze Stronger dvd. I have never done any of these, but I thought this might be great to add on to my rotation of Cathe dvds. Something different!!! I may be getting some gift certificates to Collage for Christmas;) And thanks for the summary, Jonahnah!! ~~Nancy J.~~
