Tracey Staehle's filming a new series!

Tracey announced on her website that a new series is now in the works. There will definitely be a High Intensity Step Mix II (and she will be breaking down the steps more). (Gogigi: She said she's doing this for you!) There will also be a tough ab routine. She is looking for suggestions about a strength routine. She asked if anyone wanted heavy weights or what else they might be interested in. She said she likes a functional fitness type workout. She is definitely looking for feedback and she has promised NO UGLY PANTS!

Honestly, and please feel free to pass this along, I wish new instructors would film the workouts they are GOOD at versus trying so hard to please everyone (which is impossible and I imagine an exercise in frustration). If Tracey prefers functional fitness, that's what she should film. Stop trying to please everyone, and start trying to focus on your strengths, you know what I mean?

I like Tracey's style and I wish she would find her niche.

And FWIW, the pants weren't really that bad. :)

I agree with Marie. I like variety and the reason I want to try other instructors is because each has something different to offer - not everyone trains the same way and each one has something that they are particularly good at. Just like exercisers responds to different training regimes, different instructor should offer something personal of their own creation. I like Cathe's style, but I am too familiar with her stepping style and I can guess that she has her own kickboxing style too. I want to broaden my horizon by using other instructors.

I do not own Tracey Staehle but I am thinking of ordering some.

My thoughts exactly!

That is so true, Marie. Today's most sucessful instructors are doing what THEY know they are good at, not what other people want them to be good at.

Tracey is best at choreographing an advanced step workout, she is not so good at kickboxing and hi/lo. She has potential with the weight work, but I still feel she is not very cohesive with what she does, and therefore body parts seem to be overlooked.
