Too many Krispie K's!

Hi Cathe,
What is the fastest way to trim the waist and ab's? Cardio stepbox, Kickboxing or Jogging?
I read where you run 2-3 x's a week....how far and how long do you run?
I'd been rotating your videos ( I have all but your very early workouts) and eating pretty clean for 1 1/2 years, 6 days a week. But....this summer I got into the Krispie Kremes and I slacked off from the number of workouts due to the heat and more than usual number of migraines. I can't believe how fast you can lose ground on all your hard work! :(

I know your workouts get me in shape....but was just wondering what is the fastest way to whittle the waist down? I was at my goal and then bam....now I'm impatient to get back there...:D

Thanks in advance for your advise.
Wanda

Hi Wanda! Unfortunately we cannot pick and choose where we want to lose our fat, sigh ;-). Our bodies lose overall fat. But you will still notice that some things your body responds more favorably than others (for me that is running). So give all of the above you asked about a try (or do a circuit involving all) and see what works.

My advice would be to do either a variety of a cardio activities, an interval workout or fast paced circuit once a week, and/or a cardio activity you have never done before (if you chose the last one, then do it for two weeks straight at three times per week to allow for adaptation and then response). In other words, shock your metabolism.

Good Luck:)!

PS....My runs vary with time and distance.

Cathe,
Thank you so very much for answering my question. I've started the 'shock' system to my workouts this week. I jogged 3 days, did Step Heat, All Step, Circuit Max, Rythmic Step and threw in Chest Shoulders and Triceps....and its only Friday. :D

I printed out your reply so I can review it AND I wanted to brag to my hubby that CATHE actually answered my question. :-jumpy

Thanks again,
Wanda

Cathe,
Great answer! When it comes to exercise, variety truly is the spice of life!

Love this forum!

Hey Wanda!

I remember the first time Cathe answered my post. I was bragging to my hubby too. He had the NERVE to say, "There is no way she can answer that many questions on her site. She probably has others help." Of course, now that he works out with Cathe's strength tapes faithfully, he knows she is a very caring person when it comes to her fans and that she is very genuine. Good Luck with your new rotation. Let us know how you do.

RE: Hey Wanda!

A big HI to you Debbie.
I called you Deborah on the other thread....(Sorry) :(

By upping my cardio, already I don't feel as puffy. Do you know the feeling like your legs are the size of an elephants? They aren't, but you just feel BIG? But you know you are bigger because you no longer need a belt to hold your pants up....:D

Ah, but it gets us to put Cathe's workouts to the test in case we forgot....LOL
