Can you believe it will be Easter in a week? Wow, I"m thinking Spring. It celebration, I have made internet orders to JCPenney, Kohls, and LLBean. Boy, do I have the shopping itch! Which really stinks b/c I'm working all these extra hours and do NOT need to be shopping. Everything is returnable though, right?

I have Tuesday off this week. Jory has a choir concert & we're doing the haircut thing. It's nice to have a day off in the middle of the week. 430 workouts are going real well. I've even continued on my days off.

Hi Melanie! I know, I can't believe Easter is already here! Just got back from church this morning with some palms. Shopping sounds wonderful, but I always have to go try things on, they either don't look right when I get them or they're the wrong size! I'm feeling the itch too though...

I got in a nice run on Friday and Low Max circuit yesterday. Not sure what I feel like today. Maybe Butts n guts.

Nothing much new here. Just anxiously awaiting my u/s tomorrow, but scared too. I'm not feeling anything, but some fatigue, so I can't help but worry that something is wrong. I guess only tomorrow will tell. Pray I see a heartbeat!

Well, gotta run and get some house cleaning done. hope everyone had a nice, restful weekend.

The weather is beginning to warm here, a least above freezing. Friday was really nice and the girls were able to play on their swingset. Girls are doing well although Sat. we were at the mall and Alexis crashed, screaming/crying, saying she needed a nap. She normally doesn't nap. Had to put Alexis in the stroller which Ashley loved as she got to "walk like a big girl". Did do an easter egg hunt though at the mall which went well. I always have the shopping bug and a few weeks ago got 2 bathing suits at newport-news .com that I am happy with.

Will post workouts later. Just wanted to say hi.

mel, i thought of you when i got up at 4:30 for my workout. it is kind of nice , isn't it? you sound great, and i am hopeful the house will sell soon.

hi elyse - easter egg hunt sounds like fun! i am not thinking bathing suit yet at all. maybe in july:) by the way, do you have sharon twombly's all body attack or double cardio? would i like them? i may try them from net flix, but you are my source fr info on dvd's usually:)

we had a fun weekend, but i am still a bit under the weather. dh leaves today for a 2-3 week trip. finn is so funny - he knows daddy is on a "mishmin" (mission) to "bah-ran" (bahrain). i will post workouts later. i did lots of running, 4ds weights, imax 3, body max 2, and cardio fusion. just remembering the order is problematic:)
 
Hi Nina, I do have the sharon twolby dvds. I usually do the cardio premixes on them. The first one is a little heavier in the cardio. For the price, they are worth it. I do like both. Of course, you are not bathing suit shopping! No maternity bikini for you right now,LOl!
 
I"m confident that Elyse has EVERY DVD ever made!!!!!!!! Ha Ha, she's definitely earned her handle. ;)

Nina, I am doing real good. The hours really aren't as bad as I thought they'd be. I don't want to do it forever (it was tough during my period) though.

Anyone have Amy Bento's Adanced Step Challenge One? I did if for first time yesterday (just sections 1 & 2). I liked it. It's not as tough as 2 in choreography,...but still tough. I really like her alot.

Mel, I do have alot of workouts. I actually like adv. step 1 better than adv. 2.

Workouts:
Sun-Step this way 2 +4DS high intensity step cardio +abs
Mon-Mtv pilates+kelly coffey cardio sculpt cardii
Tues-cardio fusion+20 min. yoga for abs
Wed-firm cardio inferno, firm sculpted hips,thighs and time crunch
Thurs-hi/lo extreme + kickbox extreme intervals
Fri-karen voight-power packed workout +floorwork from great weighted workout
Sat-10-10-10 cardio +TJ fatblaster.
 
Shopaholic, love Karen Voight's Great Weighted Workout. I find the
floor work awesome. I have used for years. I did while I was pregnant
both times and really believe my legs stayed firm and celluite free.
Before Cathe I was a loyal customer of Karen Voight. I have all
her DVD'S produced up until 3 years ago. Many fans were disppointed
with the quality of her DVD'S and her breast implants. I will say
she has some great videos. Cathe's Kick Max leg drills might be
tougher though.

I hope all the little ones are doing well. Jennifer refused to sit
with the Easter Bunny last night. " No way" she said. So we
have a picture of 7 month old Taylor smiling away. Jennifer is
still taking her clothes+ diaper off at night. It was cute at first
but now its old. The other night she soaked her crib. Pinning
her pajama's was suggested to me but I feel mean doing that.
I tried to ignore, that didn't work. I thought it was going to
be a short phase but it's been going on too long now.
 
Not ONE day off, Elyse? Boy, you're making the rest of us look bad. ;)

Jennsmom, does it help if you put a onesie on? I found my oldest would undress herself but couldn't unsnap the onesie. My youngest now loves her naked time around the house. I don't love karen's cardio except power packed workout-a true oldie but do feel she has great lower body work.
Mel- I am trying to look good in my new swimsuits! We are traveling this weekend, so there should be a day off.
 
No Easter Bunny pics for us. Little Jadon has screamed whenever we put him on Santa's lap. I think it makes for a good picture, tears or not!

Bikini weather already? Are you going to Hawaii for Easter?

I told DH that I wanted to put my bikini on and clean the pontoon up for Spring, of course it's barely over freezing here,...will be long time before I'm putting a bikini on. ;)

Mel-we are going on our yaht to Hawaii for easter! LOl- It is still in the 30's here but I figure I have 12 weeks to get bikini ready . I am not doing bad, at prepreggo weight, I just want to get rid of some of the bulk on my legs. I don't feel it is fat but muscle but I am hoping to lean them out.
 
please let me know if you figure out how to lean out the leg muscles, shopaholic!! i try light weights, heavy weights, no weights - i think it is genetic.

melanie, i am opp shopaholic - i like asc2 better than 1. 1 i found boring and couldn't enjoy the music. also, the set felt like a locker room. silly things to be bothered by, but i rarely do it. i am excited for amy's new kb workouts. have you tried her hi lo?


suzanne, no easter pics for us either. truthfully, the easter bunny scares me too.:)
 
Yes, the set in ASC1 seems prehistoric, but I do like the first sections I did (or attempted).

How are things going Morris? Did you get my package? How are your folks doing?

hi mel - i thought 'd sent you an e mail, but i think it disappeared. i did get thte package but have not tried it yet - too much runnng this week}( thanks for asking abut my folks. things are still terrible there. sometimes i am glad to be far away as i think it would completely eclispe my life otherwise. before kids i think i could focus more on others. now, i want to direct that focus to ds. does that make sense. no quick moves towards divorce, but no discussing getting back togehter right now either.

i am so glad work is okay for you these days. you will truly appreciate a lighter schedule when it comes your way!
 
Actually, my job isn't what I hoped it would be. Not sure how long it will last, but thankfully my job is in high demand. How about your job? Everything still going smooth since your confrontation?

my job is really going quite well. i have decided my officer manager has the problem, not me:) she is short and picky with the other associate vet and me.it is quite comical now that i can stand back and see it. but, i am trying to not let it affect me too much. my patients are fantastic, and i love what i do. just wish i had more sleep!!
