Today, I wiped out on my step during the SB Challenge

Hello Friends of the Forum.

This AM, I was looking forward to one of my faves that I haven't done in awhile. Preceeding SB this week, I was able to do with more intensity LIC,BM2, and DM so I felt I was on a good path here.

During the repeat of the first combo of the third blast, I felt my knee getting real soft. I was thinking overuse and time to cool it after I get done with the workout. By the second combo of the 360 spin, I tripped when exiting from that move and fell to the ground. For a minute, I couldn't move then elevated it. Then,I got up bummed that I missed the 3rd blast (which I love). Fortunately, I was able to cool down and stretch.

At this moment, my walking is not the best and I have a big bruise under my foot bone.

So, those doing SB blast today. Think of me doing the 3rd blast. Taking this day to rest and possibly Sunday too. This is a humbling experience to which I will learn overuse can hurt real bad.

Enjoy Your Weekend.

Oh no!!!! Ouch! I'm so sorry!
I've stubbed my toe and done other miscellaneous things, but you are the winner!

Resting sounds like a good idea!

I have had a scare or two of doing that same thing..Resting is a great idea! I have trip up onto it before and stumbled slightly. But, I agree that sounds worse. Hope your foot and leg is ok..

Oh No!!!
Sorry to hear about that - and yes overuse is not good I'm feeling a bit of a twinge on my problem knee and when I do CCPP I'm going to try to take it down a notch.

Oh, Jennifer, I'm so sorry to hear about this! Just stay off your feet today and don't even think about working out again until you feel back to normal!:)

One word - RICE.

Okay, actually it's 4 (rest, ice, compression, elevation). Take it from someone who's injured her knee, ankles, achilles and various other parts of my body over the years, RICE works and the sooner you do it the better. Don't try to work through the pain cuz it just gets worse. Focus on weights and core execercises until it feels better. Your body will thank you!

Oh no, I hope it heals quickly! Definitely "RICE"! Thinking of you!

My foot is doing better although it's black & blue with some puffiness. I've put ice on it for awhile and it helped dramatically.
RICE does work.

No plans to workout in the near future.
Thanks for all of your support and great advice.
