Laura - This year it was a frantic call to DS23 to pick up ice cream for the pies. So, yeah, I'm with ya on that one. Don't know why - I even make a list with the recipes in front of me and carefully go through each recipe to make sure I'm not missing anything, and I STILL forget something. It's ridiculous!
