Three things - April 7, 2005

Hello everyone!

As I descent into the depths of PMS, I am trying to remain positive

1. This is my last day of work this week!

2. My Visa is paid off so now I can order MORE CATHE!

3. I found out that the distributor for Ryka shoes in Canada is about 15 minutes from my office and so I have a call into them trying to find out if I can get Rhythm II's somewhere close by, or even directly from them! I'm so excited!

1. I had to use a barbell for S&H bicep curls yesterday. 15's seemed light and I wanted to go up to 32.5 lbs. total. Made it through 2 sets.

2. Made it through all sets of S&H overhead presses with a 20 and was able to do those two sets of dips with a 15-lb. db on my lap.

3. Slept like a log last night from all the weight work. No insomnia.

Hi, guys!

1. Last night I spent 2.5 hours pulling sod out to make my garden bigger. This is the toughest part of the garden, and it's done!

2. I have kickbox tonight! Survivor is on tonight! I LOVE Thursdays!

3. My new boyfriend! {{giggle giggle}}

2) I went out to eat last night with DH and actually left food on my plate for the first time since I got pregnant! }(

Minor bad thing: I accidentally put on navy blue socks when I'm wearing black pants/shoes!! OOPS!!!

I get 6 weeks for a V birth or 8 weeks for a C-section...but I actually do not intend to return...I have always wanted to be a SAHM.:+

That's awesome, Wendy - good for you! I was a SAHM briefly and it was the toughest and best job I ever had!!

Yikes! That's crazy. We get a year in Canada. I didn't go back to my pre-Sophie job after my year off. I found a part-time job instead (we couldn't afford for me not to work and Sophie's Grandmas looked after her while I was at work). I'd like to be a SAHM, but being a single parent kinda rules that out

I love these:
1) My "baby" turns 26 years old today and he's self-sufficient, happily married, and in a good place in his life which makes me sooooo happy.
2) My job is going well this week & I don't want to kill any co-workers.
3) I fit into the size "0" pants at Banana Republic last night at the mall. (But I still can't fit into the "size 4" I wore five years ago. What's up with that???)

Well, we are gonna try the SAHM thing. Who knows...I may decide I'd prefer to work...but this is what I think I want and the pen and paper say that we can afford it soooo we are gonna try it. Even if I do end up going to back to work before my kid(s) get into school full time for any reason, I have no interest in keeping my current job. It's just too far away to make any sense for me. I will get a job closer to home when I do go back to work...whenever that happens to be...
