Those of you who have done LIC

Can you tell me what weights & barbell you found worked for you? Did you lighten or go heavier? Also, did you do the 8 in step?

I'm asking over here because I know more traffic is over this way ;)

Thanks!

Debbie

My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is.

Hey Deb!

I can't remember the weights I used LOL but I do know that I used an 8" step for it and it was fine. I use 6" for MOST Cathe work outs just so you know.

HTH some!:)

I always am a bit conservative when I do a workout for the first time, so I used a 6" step (it was enough for me!) a 25# bar (though I had to cut short the curls with bands added) and 5# dumbells.

The first time I did the workout, I used the same weights Cathe did. The next time, I upped them a bit (used 8# instead of 5#) and used a heavier barbell on shoulders and tris but I stayed with the 25# bar on the bis as the addition of the band really does make that move quite challenging. I must say, I REALLY like the weight work on both LIC and BMax2. It’s amazing how I can DOMS from doing about 20 min of upper body work!

I used an 8" step the whole way through. I used the same as Cathe for weights -- 5# dumbbells and a 20# barbell. The bicep curls with the band was tough. I think I will use 8# instead of 5# for kickbacks the next time though. I have used 10# for kickbacks before but after the lying overhead extensions, I think 8# will be enough for now.

Hi Debbie! I'm just like Kathryn that I too take a more conservative approach the first time through b/c I don't know what the moves will be & how my body will react to it. I used the same exact weights that Cathe & crew used. But I only used a 6" step instead of 8. I must say I liked this one a lot. The shoulder & bicep work are Killers! Kathy:D
