things to see in Montreal

DH and I have about an 8 hours plane layover in Montreal before we leave for Paris. We are lookig for things to see or do. Any ideas for me? Thanks.

Can't help with Montreal, but PM me if you'd like some Paris suggestions. I spent Summer '06 living in an apartment in the 8th. It's awesome!

Hey Ecossaise,

I'm going to Paris for a week in April with my Mom and Aunt. We're going to be staying in a hotel near the Louvre. We're planning to do a day trip to Normandy, but other than that, we're keeping our itinerary loose.

What do you suggest for "must see's"? Also, what do you suggest for places to eat?

As for Montreal, I guess it depends on what you like. There's a botanical garden that's popular. There's also a casino, if you feel like trying your luck.
