I decided to take the kids out for a bike ride and run along with them. I am trying to get in some extra cardio. Great idea, right?
The first quarter mile I was at a FULL SPRINT. I couldn't keep up. The kids were racing and going super fast. Then DS (4 yrs) saw an anthill...DEAD STOP. Chance to catch my breath, then he was off again FULL SPEED! It was like that for about 3 miles. Run, stop, jog, walk, sprint. It was a great workout!
"Mom, look!" (stop)
"I'm gonna beat your shadow to that tree!" (sprint)
"I'm getting tired. Can you give me a push?" (recovery)
What an interesting run it was!
