The next mama to be . .

I just checked our due date list and the next mama to be is Emy. She is due July 10th.

I can't believe how quickly time is passing.

I don't think we have any August mommies to be but holy cow just wait til September gets here. ;)

Hey, Dana, thanks for noticing! Today, actually, was a real low - so it's nice to be thought of here.

My toddler is going crazy and I am ready to have this baby now. I am experiencing mild pain just from walking. I think it's my ligaments in the pelvic/inner thigh region causing this, but also wonder if varicose veins in the vicinity could also be responsible. Anyway, I am glad I don't have much longer to go. I quit exercising about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and am still very tired and feel like a big lump! Thanks for listening! Hopefully I will have some good news SOONER rather than later...

I hope these last days go quick and you have a great delivery! I look forward to hearing all about it!:)

Emy I'm sorry that you are so uncomfortable. Hopefully the upcoming weeks pass quickly by for you. Baby will be here before you know it!

Hi Emy--how's the move going? The end is in sight. I always think that the final few weeks are the slowest of the pregnancy (but morning sick time moves pretty slow too:-( )

Hang in there!

We are going on vacation for a week. Maybe you'll have that baby by the time we get back:7 :7 .

RE: Doing the labor dance...

Thanks, everyone, for all the positive energy!

The move is in progress. My husband is already gone, but we check in many times per day. He is ready to hop on a plane when I say so. And, our house closes in 2 weeks.

I am having occassional cramps and mentally keep hoping they are really contractions! So, no real labor pains yet. But I'm betting by the middle of the week something will happen.

Tell me how to do the labor dance...

Okay, I'm changing what I said in my post above. I don't think anything will happen by the middle of the week (we're just about there anyway). My midwife checked me today and I'm maybe 1.5 cm dilated and not "ripe" (is that the same as effaced?) at all. ;(

Now I feel like it's never going to happen!

I was lucky with my last pregnancy. I was very much expecting to be late because that's the word on first time pregnancies. So when my little guy came early, it was very much a surprise. This time the wait is like torture!!!!

Emy, I was suprised when Alexis came early too. Hope your little girl comes soon. I give you credit, you are handling everything so well.
