i haven't bought any new workout clothes or shoes since before the Road Trip. i think it's time! anyone been shopping lately? any good sales? good links you may want to share?

jes:)

i do like targets clothes, this year i went to value city in the mall for running shorts but wound up buying capris. they were tagged S$10.99 but all rung up $5.99. now that was great :). my problem is buying sports bras. i am 34D and if i buy the generic sports bras (usually for non cardio days) they fit around the sides but just the in the boobs. the only time i got a good sport bras when i lived near a sports store(forgot the name) and got everlast bras. when i moved here near dicks sporting goods they don't have everlast stuff just nike and addias and i refuse to pay $34-45 for one stinking bra.

I buy mostly Adidas stuff. I have tried other brands that I've ordered online, and nothing seems to fit me as well and last as long as Adidas. I buy mostly clearance stuff at Sportmart and my most recent purchase was a great pair of gray pants with pink stripes - they are climate and were on clearance for $30. They are normally $50.

I have bought cheaper stuff at Target and Walmart, but they seem to lose their elasticity much faster than the more $$ stuff.

oh i agree adidas is a great brand. i mostly used to buy their shoes and they would last a few good years and a had a few pairs of pants during the high school days when i was fan of Korn, i just don't understand why our local sporting goods store(the only one in this area unless i feel like drving 45-60 mins away)would charge so much for a bra. i never tried their bras but i must say i do like the everlast brand. i just keep my eyes open for a deal. its hard to find 34D bras, regular or sports.

Jes, have you checked Marshalls and TJMaxx? I always get great deals there. The last time I was at Marshalls (last Friday), a lot of their tank tops and shorts were on sale. I checked Ross last Thursday, but they already had their fall/winter activewear on the racks, all long-sleeved tops and track pants. I know each store is different, but it wouldn't hurt to check. Sometimes I also find great deals at Oshman's and Academy Sports. You do have to hit them at the right times during the year, like in Aug/Sept and Mar/Apr, when they're clearing out their seasonal stuff.

Kassia I understand on the cost of bras! It's ridiculous. I usually just buy the basic bra that matches the Adidas pants/shorts, and on clearance they are usually about $18. I'm 34B or so, so I don't have too much to worry about LOL. Can you wear two cheapies? I have some from Walmart for under t-shirts that were under $10. Maybe you'd get good support wearing two of them?

i will have to shop where you shop b/c $18 for a bra is defiantly more reasonable then $35. sometimes i do double duty on the bras for cardio and running and wear regular bras when doing pilates and yoga. for weight workouts i wear the cheapies b/c i am not doing any jumping so i don't have to worr about hitting myself in the eye LOL.

yes ma'am! i am a a huge fan of Marshall's and Ross. Unfortunately, due to RITA Marshall's here is closed for who knows how long. that is where i usually get all my workout stuff. :( i am going to try Academy though. Thanks

My favorite part of moving here to Arizona was finding a Ross and a TJ Maxx in the same shopping plaza, and it is only 5 minutes away from my house. The bad thing is that I am in there all the time, checking out the workout stuff....lots of great deals there. I have found some stuff really cheap at a nearby Nordstrom Rack.
