Cathlete
Oh man, did I have a workout last night! You think Cathe has an evil genius for devising killer workouts? I hope I never meet the devil who designed Program 8 on my elliptical! It was the interval routine from you-know-where. I cringed every time it changed resitance. Just because it went down to 4 or 5 didn't mean a break. Oh no. It expected me to pedal harder!
When I got off to cool down, my legs were trembling. I couldn't just go into a regular cool down. My legs simply would not do side to side movements. They were stuck in the forward and back mode, so I had to go outside to walk around. Then I came back in and mopped up a huge puddle of sweat - yes, really. And wiped down the machine. Too much info? Sorry!
The calorie counter said I burned 840 calories. I don't know how accurate that actually is, but it was impressive to watch the number climb.
I know some of the reason it was so hard was because I'm fairly new to this thing, and my legs aren't used to that much forward-and-back. They like the variety of step choreography. But trust me, it was a darned hard workout.
If anyone's curious, I have a ProForm XP 130 from Sears.
