Elaine, the circuits that the trainer had me do were just weights and rotate through the body parts. For example, do one arm rows for back, followed by lateral raises for shoulders, then do squats and then reverse crunches. Rest and repeat at least once(each exercise is 12-15 reps. Then chest press, shoulder press, deadlifts and planks. As for which Cathe DVD comes close, I would say Bootcamp. It rotates through the body parts and adds cardio. Meso cysle 1 is kind of a circuit because it rotates through the body parts.

No work out for me today. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get one in.


Roxie, take it slow. Hope you are starting to get our the sinus infection.

Morning, I'm not sure what workout im doing today..I know i need to do abbs.

Were suppose to have some really pretty weather this weekend...in the 60's, i can't wait:eek:



Amelia-I saw that 10 min sol kb set at wal-mart this morning for 15.00 is it worth it?


I love my gloves, there worth 15$ buy there self but the workout that comes with it is really fun..i liked it. Did it monday, not so hard that i feel that 'dread factor' but by no means easy either. I consider myself intermediate/advanced and i got through it huffing and puffing...

Jean: thanks for the explanation of the circuits. I may try some sort of circuit roataion using the STS.

Amelia and Roxie: What have you decided on?

I did 4DS back and bis premix then LIS only upto and including the 3rd combo. I just get very bored with this cardio.

DH bought an elliptical from his boss for $200. He cleared a spot in the basement near my workout area. He is suppose to pick it up next week sometime. He got it for himself but I can use it. FUN,FUN,FUN!
 
Awesome news on the elliptical Elaine!!! How exciting...i wish i had room for one,LOL. Great news about your DSs thumb too!

workout done, almost took a rest day but decided to do LM premix 1-4,it was really fun. I also did KCM NYC abbs then put a yoga workout in and my calves are so sore i wasn't able to do it:confused: 55mins total & burned 360, i'll take it
 
Good Afternoon,

I went to the Dr. this morning and I definetly have a sinus infection and fluid in both ears. I went to bed at 8:30 last night and didn't get up until after 7 this morning. They gave me zithromax so maybe I will feel like working out next week.

Amelia-great job on the workout. I think this set at wally world had 4 different workouts plus the gloves.

Elaine-I'm jealous I want and elliptical. Have fun with it and great news on DS.
 
Elaine, great news on both your son's thumb and the elliptical.

Amelia, good for you for working out when you thought you might take a rest day. If I even through in the possibility of a rest day, a rest day it is, LOL.

Roxie, sorry to hear you are still feeling bad. Hopefully witht he medication, you will start to feel better real soon.

I forgot to post yesterday. I took the dogs out for a jog. I hope to get a workout in tonight.

I did the power yoga dvd, it was really fun...i was shaking with some of those poses. Ive never done a bow pose and holy smokes, there are three in a row! I was stronger than i thought:eek: funny thing is that when i was up and was trying to figure out how i was going to get down:eek:
 
Good Afternoon,

I haven't worked out yet wanted to get to wal-mart before it got crazy they say we are going to get alot of snow the next 2 days and that sends everyone in a tizzy. I still have pain in my face and my nose runs every once in awhile but I am feeling alittle better.

Amelia-I took a good look at that set and its the same one you have so I went ahead and bought it.

Morning

Today will be a full body workout, im thinking MM or PH...not sure yet. I will also walk the dog later.

TOM is here a week early today:confused: that explains my massage cravings for junk all week and the scale increase:rolleyes: Sometimes i wish I was a man so i wouldn't have to deal with all that crap;) Notice i said sometimes :p

well,off to the store. TOM is early and im not prepared for it...ARG:mad:
 
Good Morning,

Woke up to snow on the ground and its still coming down. I now have a sore throat but I think the sudafed is loosening things up, wish the zithromax would kick in soon. I plan on doing some yoga today.

Amelia-enjoy your day always hate it when I am not prepared for that.
 
Workout done, decided on Muscle Endurance. I was tired going into it but i got through it and burned 362. I have to admit i didn't do all those low pulse lunges:cool:

Roxie-Enjoy your yoga today, i bet it will make you feel better. I wonder if my doing that yoga yesterday made my TOM come earlier?:confused: (lol)
