THE CHALLENGERS week of the jan,5th

I guess we are all getting this cold blast. Its 16 here with a wind chill of 2. Not suppose to get above freezing til Sunday. When I let my one dog out she just lays down in front of the door. I'm like "that's not gonna work. Go do your stuff and you can come right back in." Finally after I leave the door she will get up. The other dog is really good. She runs right out, tinkles and runs back to the door.

As for workouts, I'm in funk. Just can't get back into a routine. I'm going to try to scoot through the weekend and hopefully figure out a plan to start on Monday.

Jean-the temp here is -3 with a windchill of -19. I think I am in the same funk.
 
Oh my gosh Roxie. That's cold!!! I have on 2 layers of clothing now and I'm freezing. I'd have to be wearing a snowsuit (indoors) if i lived where you are are. Hope you stay warm and get out of your funk. Today I just feel like eating everything that's not nailed down( and have eaten most of, LOL). Exercise is not appealing at all. I have a little bit of a cold/drainage and I don't know if that is why I'm feeling this way or if I just have the "Reality Blues" after coming back from vacation.

On a lighter note, Dh was cute last night. When I came home from work in a bit of a funk, he goes "this will cheer you up" and he flips the TV channel over to FITTV and Cathe's Power Hour was playing. We both laughed.

Morning

we had a sad night last night. Im not sure if I told you girls but when the inlaw's moved from next door we had to take in a very old family dog. They couldn't have animals where they were moving too. Hurcules, a 17yr old mix breed was my given to my husband originally but he settled with his parents in the end.

Hurcules passed away yesterday:( he was 17yrs old and not a bit of trouble. He LOVED his food, ate up until he passed actually. He would always remind me that it was dinner time by standing by the sliding glass door and staring at me. Sometimes he would pace. I feed him yesterday evening but he wasn't waiting...I figured he was asleep:( I felt bad having to keep him outside but he couldn't control his blatter or bowels. He was smart too, knew 5 tricks altogether.


As for my workout yesterday, it never happend. Today will be a different story..im doing cardio then some abb work.

Today I will do SJP step only and Quick Trouble Zones which is NMTZ without the floor work. I need to clean and go grocery shopping today having my family christmas tomarrow, we are having mexican not very christmasie but oh well she didn't show up for christmas dinner.

Amelia-I am so sorry to hear about the dog I know its tough.
 
Hey girls, i finished my workout. decided on LIS then PH abbs. Burned right at 400.

DH was home last night because he couldn't get out of the driveway:confused: he was probably crossing his fingers that he couldn't:rolleyes:

Im enjoying in my coffee,so yummy. Im pretty happy right now, im 3.6 lbs down this week:D i weigh everyday so i knew it yesterday, but i was crossing my fingers that it would be the same today:p

Today's workout is Kelly's new you coming. im excited about this workout, i got it wed. and haven't had a chance to do it yet.

Thanks girls, with hercules being 17 we knew it was coming but for some reason we were still shocked. Were doing better...

Hey girls, i finished my workout earlier. I really liked it..very fast pace so its got a cardio factor even though its weight training. She uses the high rep/low weight concept. I will do it once a week along with Cathe's weights. I burned 360 in 40mins...i fastforward the abb routine in there since i did them yesterday, they looked pretty good too.
