My baby still isn't feeling better,he's got a work-in appt. at the doctor's. The poor thing was up most of the night complaining of an ear ache and he just threw up agian. I feel bad because he keeps telling me it hurts and i can't do nothing:( maybe the doctor can help him.

Never did get in a workout yesterday, i ate sensible so all is good. Im going to 1500 cals a day and keeping my workouts the same. 100 calories isn't a big deal but a longer workout aint gonna happen:p(im at a standstill with my weightloss so i figure either drop my cals or up my workouts) Today will be a cardio coach on the treadmill,i miss the coach,hehehe

Jean-i never got any house cleaning done either,well besides cleaning up after my son. I love margarita's...i had three beers last night and felt awful this morning,ugh, Reminds me why i don't drink that often.

Good Morning,

Sometime during the night my front door blew open so my upstairs is hot and my downstairs is cold, but because it was hot upstairs I couldn't sleep and it doesn't help when DH isn't there. I got up early enough to get my workout in I did LIS Lower Body Cardio Blast Premix if you have never done this one I would recommend it.

Amelia-hope your son gets better I hate when you can't do anything to make them feel better even when they don't live at home.
 
Amelia, so sorry to hear DS is still sick. Hope he starts to feel better soon. Myabe the calorie drop with get you off your plateau. If not, have you ever tried calorie cycling? I've herad that has helped some people. My version doesn't work thought. Eat right, eat too much, Eat right, eat too much, LOL.

Roxie, sorry about the hot/cold issue. I would have been freaked about the door. Was DH still home or were you by yourself? Glad you got your work out in. I always forget about the premixes. Thanks for the recommendation.

Well, I got my house cleaning done. Just need to haul some stuff off to goodwill and then vacuum where it was. I stayed up past midnight last night but still set my alarm for 4:30 thinking I could get my workout in. Alarm goes off and I don't even hear it. DH ask why am I trying to get up after coming to bed so late. I laid in bed for a few minutes, but by then was wide awake so I got up and did disc 33, bis, tris and shoulders. I'm sure I'll be in bed early tonight.

Jean-Dh was not home I was by myself I have a security chain on the front door so it would have been hard for someone to get in. I am like you I woke up sweating so I couldn't go back to sleep so I will probably go to bed early to.

Boy,did i have a day yesterday! DS was diagosed with an ear infection. She thinks all the throwing up he did was combined with the ear infection:)rolleyes:) I get home and long an behold, DH & DD are sick,throwing up. So guess who was next? Yep, i started getting nauseated and got sick (along with everyone else)all day long. It was a horrible day, i can't remember the last time i felt so bad:( i think it was the stomach flu,everytime i got up i was dizzy,then i would feel feverish with body aches...then get sick.

Well,all of us started feeling better about 11ish last night so thankgoodness it didn't last all night,im exhausted.:(

Today will be a rest day(for the third day in a row:mad:) and i will get back at it tomorrow. I just can't imagine working out today after all my body went through yesterday. The only thing i plan on doing is some cleaning and sanitizing.

Roxie- i will check out that premix,ive seen it on there...

Jean-i use to calorie cycle when i first started counting cals. Maybe i will try that agian. Nice job on your workout yesterday!

Good Morning,

Didn't sleep well last night so I didn't get up and workout and I probably won't get it done tonite DH is coming home. I should be able to make it up Thurs. he will be gone again.

Amelia-what a crappy day you had yesterday you definetly need a rest day today how is everyone else feeling?
 
Roxie, I'm so relieved to hear that the door wasn't completely open. Sorry about you not sleeping well. I know how that wrecks havic on our workout intentions. Enjoy hubby while he's home and then get back to your workout routine when he's gone.

Amelia, that is terrible about the bug the whole family caught. Right now DH is sick and I started to get the sniffles. I better not be getting sick. I have too much going on this week with early Christmas dinner on Friday and relatives coming in town. While they are here I have to try hard to get my workouts in.

This morning was my treadmill training. I'm starting to show improvement on my speed (just can't maintain it very long). Burned over 400 calories in 35 minutes.

Tomorrow I will be doing Chest and Back.

Good Morning,

I have managed to do my 30 pushups so far and the boss lady will be leaving at 1 today so hope to get my 200 crunches in here at work. Tonite I am scheduled to do LM step only and since DH will be gone I won't get side tracked. I made chili for supper so I don't have to worry about fixing anything I can go straight home do my workout then eat.

Jean-DH and I have the sniffles to and I have a slight cough.
 
Roxie, chili sounds good. I don't know what we are having yet. Hope your sniffles and sore throat so away.

Amelia, I just realized how bad of day you had yesterday. I didn't even notice it until this afternoon. You dated the title of the challenge 12/23/09. Are you trying to rush this year along?

Hey girls,just a quick check in. I have nothing to report as far as workouts go, i haven't had a workout since saturday:(. Im still not 100%, the stomach virus really got me good. Just real weak and feeling nauseous every time i eat/stand up. The kids are doing good,they went back to school yesterday. The good news is that im not eating much so i don't feel bad about not working out;):p

I was going to get up early and do KM timesaver but I didn't sleep well again and tonite I have to babysit my 1 yr. old nephew so I know I won't get it done tonite.
 
Hi everyone. I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, I did workout. I did Plyo legs. Today was disc 36. I'm finished with this round of STS. I took pics and measurements, but not much changed. Just like 1/2 inch here and there which is bettehr than nothing and definitely better than an increase. Made some good strength improvements and body fat % went down a little too. Weight is only down 1/2 lb from the end of last STS. I guess I'll take it especially with it being that time of year where you are exposed to all kinds of goodies. Now to make it through New Years without a gain.

I just finished a run interval on the treadmill. Felt great! it was 40mins, i started with CCV2 but decided to listen to music and travel as far as my stomach would let me(its still not right) i went 2.6miles...better than nuttin:D

Jean-Congrats on the smaller measurements and lowered BF%! Have a great workout today! I got your card today,its so cute...thanks!

Roxie-nice cal burn yesterday. Have fun with your nephew tonight...im sure you will get in a good workout running around after him.

I've been very busy with Christmas things. I just thought I would check in at Cathe world.

Amelia: I hope your stomach feels better. Pretty funny with the date.:D

Jean: Congrats of finishing another round of STS. I hope to do another round in the coming new year.

Roxie: I hope you sleep better tonight. Have fun with the 1yr old.

I think I may have a slight case of Cathe burn out. I think I need to explore other WOs and instructors to add some variety. I love Cathe but I just don't want to get up and do her WOs latley. It also may be this time of year. I seem to get a little down around the holidays. I try to keep a happy face on.

I did WO Mon.,Tues and Thurs. I took Wed and today as rest days.:(

Okay off to finishing baking for my son's Cub scout den.
 
Elaine-its sounds like alot of people are hitting Cathe burnout I think you would like Kelly Coffey Meyers 30 min workouts. Keep your chin up an don't let the holidays get to you.

Today is suppose to be SJP Step/HI/LO but I am just going to do the step and then makeup the MM upper body I didn't do the other day. I am going to do some last minute christmas shopping and youngest DDs b-day shopping. DH comes home this afternoon. I need to get some cleaning and laundry done today to.
