Gosh, I hope it doesn't rain! I hope I don't trip down all those stairs!!

Only four short months til I marry the man of my dreams on that very piece on beach in the Outer Banks of North Carolina!!

What part of OBX will you be visiting? The Outer Banks is one of my absolute favorite places. We have been there many, many times and I love it even more after every visit.

We go to Manteo/Duck/KillDevil Hills areas. I am so jealous!

A woman after my heart.

I grew up on the beaches of central CA, Santa Barbara to be exact. My peace and solace throughout my early years. Loved it even in the stormy weather. The sound of the waves. . . the beach was and still is the only place I can go to think about absolutely nothing. Totally mind clearing !

What a wonderful place to get married, and, regardless of the weather, it will be the most wonderful day of your life.

Where once ends (the ocean/your separate lives) another begins (the sandy beaches/your life together).

Congrats! I LOVE the Outer Banks! In fact, I'm there right now, helping my dad recover from surgery (he lives on Emerald Isle). Here's the view from where I'm sitting - but if I walk to the beach, the view you showed is what I'd see. I do hope to get to the beach.

Don't get too excited - it's only 25 degrees here at the beach. But it will warm up a bit later this week.

One of our nurses got married in the obx and it looked just like your place! It was just parents and a few friends, she wore a sheath like ivory short dress and bare feet, and it was stunning.............
