Thanksgiving Parade - NYC

Hi Guys,

I am thinking about going to NYC for the Thanksgiving Day Parade since I live only 1 1/2 hours away. Since most of my extended family will not be around and it is only my two kids DS -9 years old, DD - 13 years old and DH we thought it may be something different to do. With that being said has anyone ever done it and where (ha ha) maybe a better place to view it.

Any suggestions or past experience is appreciated.

All I can say is make sure you have visited the potty (or sport some Depends) because public restrooms may be hard to come by. I guess you could stake out by a Starbucks Good luck and I hope you all have a great time. I would love to "meet" Snoopy in person.
