Hi Alini,

Lori:)

Alini, in whatever way I helped, you're welcome! :) I am so happy that you enjoyed the experience! It must have been really fun. Can you tell us anything about your choice?

I bet you have a great family. What is Brazil like? Like Beth, I am a SAHM with 3 kids, so I can definitely feel isolated and alone sometimes. I live far away from my dad and his side of the family (still in the same country but I rarely see him, maybe once a year) and I feel homesick for him often, so I can understand how you must be missing your family. (((HUGS!)))

And Lori is right, you are SO beautiful and have the most amazing skin tone!!! You and DH make such a cute couple! :D

Hi guys! Here're some answers for your questions:
1-The person chosen as "teacher of the year" is somebody who teaches for 30 years, and was nominated 3 years in a roll. She was the one who had the highest score in my interview and observation(we had the chance to watch them in the classroom).I thought she was consistent but not boring. She showed passion for what she does. And her ideas about teaching were fresh and new as if she had started teaching few years ago.It was tough to vote, they were all great!
2-I'm brazilian,I was born and raised in the deep south, and when I was 17 I moved to a island called FLORIANOPOLIS (if you ever go to Brazil, forget Rio,go straight there).
3-Brasil is a beautiful country with beautiful people inside and out.But is really tough living there.Only 15% of the population finishes high school, and only 3% goes to college.Your life is pretty much decided when you're born, doesn't matter how hard you work,if you're born poor, you'll be poor for the rest of your life. And there.s no middle class:either you're filthy rich(wich is about 1% of the population)or you're poor struggling to go through life.Oh well I think I wrote too much...

:7 Thank's for the compliments!:7
