Cathe, thank you so so much for sharing your pregnancy pictures and the story of how you ate and got back into shape after having Kyle. He is just as adorable as his brother!

While I know it is shameful, and I am truly very happy to be pregnant, I often feel horrible about the fat I see and the (albeit small so far) loss of muscle and strength. I worry about what I will look like by summer when the baby is just born. I am tempted to sneak protein drinks which my docotor told me to give up!

Hearing that even you gained 40 pounds and had to fight off 10 pounds afterwards makes me feel better. (Not that I could see where they may have been! Your legs still look small to me!) Hearing that even you had a loss of muscle tone makes me feel better. Sharing the pics and stories really does accomplish your goal of providing inspiration and showing that it (getting back in shape) can be done.

*****As always you are a wonderful role model. Thank you so much.******

(P.S. Hope you are having a wonderful time at Disney! Happy New Year!)

Hi Gina! I am thrilled that I was able to put you at some ease with my "getting back in shape" story. I was so hoping that it would inspire mommies-to-be that it can be done. While being pregnant is a beautiful and special time (and I loved just about every minute of it), you definitely have days where you feel very uncomfortable. Especially toward the end. I remember looking down at my belly at 8 months and thinking there is no way that something this large is going to go back down in size. While it definitely doesn't happen without hard work, it DOES happen. Hang in there and good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy. I'll be happy to answer any questions I can for you.
