Aren't they great? I love the whole series. She also has a few out with a different character (Alex Barnaby) which are good. Ales is also a tough female character. They are called Metro Girl and Motor Mouth.

Oh, I'm so glad you like them! They're my absolute faves and I have every Stephanie Plum book that's been written as well as all of Janet Evanovich's others. She's a great writer and so funny!

I sent Janet an email and asked her about the plum line she said she has no plans to stop writing them how awesome is that?
I did start collecting the The set she co-authored with Hughes.
Now Motor Mouth? Are those the only 2? is it a set? are there more? I didn't look at my sheet from her site before responding to you sorry?
She said she has a Halloween book coming in Jan. and 15 in the Plum line is coming next year.
I also wanted another set like hers so I asked around and then confirmed it with her Fern Michaels has Weekend Warriors and it is a set of women that band together there are quite a few so I have been collecting those when I am at the Used Book Stores. I also found a set with a character called Bubbles and have the first 2 to see how I will like those and she also suggested Nora Roberts.
On her site it says the script has been talked about for years to do a movie and Reese Witherspoon was talked about for the character what do you think about that?
Honestly, if anyone is interested this has humor I find myself just busting out laughing. The same characters each book and its like a real life ordinary person I am only starting 6 but 5 I couldn't even put it down I just want to see is it Morelli or Ranger she just leaves you dangling. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
I literally do not like to read, and I really want to get into a book club but nothing holds me, until Janet. Target sells the line just pick up the first one maybe all my bragging maybe I can get someone else hooked.

Yes, there are only two books in the Motor Mouth series...so far. I hope more are coming.

The other series you may like is by Laura Levine. Her main character is Jane Austen. She is another strong, funny female character. Again, when I read her books I laugh out loud!
