I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the advice you gave me about two weeks ago. I had posted a question wondering if I was, indeed, a victim of overtraining and you suggested that I lay off for awhile. Well, I did back off quite a bit, only doing about an hour of moderate intensity cardio and a teeny tiny bit of core work, every other day as opposed to high impact, high intensity cardio 6ish days per week. Well, quess what, I actually dropped about 1 1/2 pounds (no diet change either) these past two weeks and, all of a sudden, gained a ton of definition in my abs as well as losing a little of that pesky back fat that just seems to hang on for dear life. So thank you, thank you, thank you!
My question now is should I go right back to my "normal routine" or should I change something up. I usually rotate through all three IMAX, KM, KPC, MIC about 6 days per week and hit core work a solid 3 days. I do do a little weight work 3 days but try not to go too heavy because I definitely do bulk up (upper body, especially) with all of the hard labor at the farm. I mean, I don't feel anything on dead lifts or upright rows if the weight is under 50lbs
.
Thank you so much for the wonderful advice and for pushing me toward having the best body that I've ever had in my life!
Wishing you a speedy recovery,
Wendi (and all the horses at the farm :+ )
