Thank You and question for "Body for Lifers"

First of thank you for talking about the Body for Life book here on the Forum. I decided to check it out. I am not following the fitness part, but just started the nutrition part. I don't do the three shakes or bars a day and use real food instead. I did get some of the shakes, but only plan to use them once in a while when I'm in a hurry.

Anyway this is super easy. It hasn't been a full week but I have lost 2 lbs already :-wow . I only want to lose another 5 - 10lbs, so I don't think I'll be able to continue at the 2lbs per week, but I'll definately settle for a pound a week ;-) .

For those of you who have been following this, does it get harder after a while? Also, I probably won't follow the exercise plan. I don't want to reduce the time I work out. I enjoy my workouts!!! :-jumpy Anybody else feel this way?

Hi Dawn,
Sounds like the BFL nutrition program is really working for you!!! Back in May-Aug., I did 12 wks of BFL following the workout plan and the nutrition by the book, but by the end of the 12 weeks I really got lonesome for all my fun video workouts. Now I am still following the nutrition program, but am using my videos with varying rotations. I think the BFL nutrition plan is a great one and I've found it easy to stick with longterm, and I am continuing to see s-l-o-w weight-loss results.
Good luck to you!

Hi Deb,
Thanks for the reply. Did you find better results when you were following the exercise plan along with the nutrition? I don't think I could handle a whole 12 weeks of his plan.

I don't mind if the weight comes off slow. It beats not coming off at all ;-) , which is what I was seeing for the last 2 years.

Again thanks for the reply

Dawn
