I am sharing this by request. :7 Southern baking at its best! :9 This is so unclean and oh so yummy. :9 This is from Beth Moore’s blog, so it is sanctified too! ;-)
Grease a jellyroll pan and sift:
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
Bring to a boil:
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 Tbsp. cocoa
Pour over dry mixture and mix in:
2 eggs
½ c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Heat:
1 stick butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
6 Tbsp. milk
Add close to a box of powdered sugar to achieve desired consistency and 1 c. pecans and spread on cake while it is hot.
If your name is Michele, do 3 hours of Cathe cardio today! :7 Enjoy! :9 This tastes even better the second day and is especially good after Rhythmic Step. ;-) Yummy! :9
Blessings,
Heather B.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1 NIV).
