I think this is cool! Check out www.worldwidehalf.com. Kind of like the CCPP day, this is a weekend where people from all over the world get up off the couch and run. If you're new to running, you can run a 5k, if you're a veteran go out and run a half. It's free, and I think we should start a Team Cathe! You don't have to have an organized race - you can mark your 5k or half and go out and run it. Anyone up for it? I'm lucky - the San Jose Rock n Roll Half is October 14th, so I'll be running in an organized event (http://www.sjrnr.com/ for anyone who wants to run in Silicon valley - it's a flat half through downtown).
