TCA peel?

After reading a recommendation in a previous thread (that I can't find!) about TCA peels from Makeup Artist's Choice, I decided to pick one up, but I'd like some feedback from those who've used them (or the forum member who recommended the product).

By "down time," how much time do they mean. I mean, how long does it take before I would look presentable in public? Would a weekend suffice, or should I wait until I have a week off and do it at the beginning of the week?

What exactly happens after the peel? Do big pieces of my skin peel off, like they did when I got poison ivy on my face? Or is it more like a light shedding (like when you put on too much silicone line smoother and it gets flaky?)

Any tips on how to do it (I've got the instructions, just wondering if tere are any tricks to it).

TIA!

I use Platnium Skincare products. I love the products. Although, I haven't done a TCA peel, but I have used other peel products.

Some people posted pictures of their TCA peels. Many before and after shots. Maybe this site will help you get an idea. If I recall from the pictures it seemed it took more than two days to start the peel process.

ya know I had one from make up artists choice and it was not intense at all. I don't remember exactly what happen because it was about 2 years ago (maybe 3).

It was pretty uneventful...... maybe light flaking.... didn't wear makeup for 3 days...hope this helps

Thanks!

www.makeupartistschoice.com also has before-and-after photos (I'd like to see more "during" photos as in 'how bad does it look'!)

I've actually decided to start with my forehead, since I wear bangs, and it would be easy to cover anything that looked a bit peely.
