Hi everybody:

I've put together a rotation to kick my weightloss and muscle toning into high gear. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think. I'm using strictly the CTX cardio portions and the Intensity Series.

Monday - All Step (AM) PLB (PM)
Tuesday - Off
Wednesday - Power Circuit (AM) IMAX2 (PM)
Thursday - Step & Intervals (AM) BootCamp (PM)
Friday - Kickbox (AM) Muscle Endurance (PM)
Saturday - Leaner Legs (AM) PUB (PM)
Sunday - 10-10-10 (AM) Cardio & Weights (PM)

Do you think that doing an AM and a PM workout is too much? I figure it will be OK because the AM workouts are relatively short.

Let me know your thoughts. :)

Thanks. Marcia :)

i feel dead just reading this!!!!}( i usually burn out when i try something this intense...remember rest is just as important to recover. i bet there are others who have tried something like this..so they can tell you from 1st hand experience!! good luck!!

Well, I kind of thought that too, but then thinking that my schedule is very busy so there will be days that I won't make both workouts. This way I figured I got one in the morning for sure and if I get the afternoon one then I'm doing great. Ya know?!?!? I definitely don't want to get burned out either - good point!

Thanks for your input. Marcia

It looks like an awesome workout schedule BUT you do have alot of back to back weight training there. The really heavy one that I see is Friday and Saturday.I think I would get rid of a couple of the weight workouts.Maybe you could do CTX kickbox on Friday and thats it or you could do PUB on Friday evening. Then just do Leaner Legs on Saturday. Also remember that there is also alot of high intensity aerobics there. You really don't want to hurt you ankles and knees.Beleive me, I am living proof of that.I use to over train.I use to workout in the a.m and the p.m.I still do sometimes but my joints ended up getting the best of me so I had to slow it down some.(Plus I hated washing my hair twice a day)It is also true that the rest is as important as the work.I think that weight loss and definition as ALOT to do with what you eat.Sometimes watching our diet is harder then working out for 2 hours a day
Either way, these were just suggestions.Take um or leave um right:) Have fun!

Looks pretty good, but I would also have two days without heavy weighttraining between ME and PUB.

I do sort of the same thing, only I do a one hour w/o at 6AM and a 30min cardio around 5PM. Usually the cardio from the CTX series. Works really well for me.

Good luck.

Hate me if you want to but I think this is excessive. Sorry!

There's no way i would do any other cardio on an Imax 2 day. Some yoga, some stretching, yes. Power Circuit really works the legs, your legs will not be in good shape to tackle Imax 2 after this.

Personally I find both Bootcamp and Step & Intervals to be quite draining. If you do the Step & I, then do some weight training in the pm.

Kickbox and ME is another over-the-top day. ME is very long, and since Kickbox, if done with all your heart ans soul, works the arms, lats, and abs, doing weight training after it is too much i think. Again, yoga or stretching is a better compliment.

10-10-10 is intense enough as cardio for the am, in the pm do just some weight training and leave it at that.

If I were going to rework thus rotation I would do the following, assuming you still want am and pm workouts, which is not required by the way!!!:

Mon: All Step, PLB
Tues: Kickbox, Stretch or Yoga
Weds: Off
Thurs: Imax 2, PUB
Fri: Leaner legs, Stretch or yoga
Sat: Bootcamp, Stretch
Sun: Step & Intervals, ME

Sunday, you go out with a blast! Or just do the ME.

Hope this helps

Clare

Thank you for all your wonderful suggestions - keep them coming. I'm going to tweak my rotation for sure after reading your ideas.

Your suggestions are extremely helpful to me because I haven't done ME, PUB or PLB so I had no idea what they include.

Thanks again and keep those suggestions coming. :)

I think it is too much, especially if you are just beginning "cathe" again.

I had to rest this morning because I have been working out very intensely for the past week. Definitely put a rest day after Imax and/or do not do any other workout on the same day.

Keep some energy for yourself...and don't burn yourself out...you are going to drain the life out of you too soon if you go too intense at the beginning. Working out will seem like a pain instead of being fun. :p

Remember that Cathe workouts are very intense.

Blessings from our home to yours...Runathon http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/lach.gif[/img]
