I should be getting these the 1st of next week I am so excited. I know several people that are getting great results. I have been doing billys advanced lives and the get ripped for a long time and I am excited about getting his new workouts. Seveal gals I know are having great results. He motivates me as much as Cathe does. His counting and less reps on one side don't bother me a bit he is a great instructor. Thank you Billy.

Do any of you have it and love it?

I know some don't but that is ok we are all so different.

Thanks everyone

Deb:)

sorry nothing like repeating myself about the results. I get a little to excited to try something new.

Have a great day all

Deb:)

Great Deb! Enjoy your new workouts. Variety is the Spice-o-Life!!! Let us know what you think when they arrive. My daughter is thinking of ordering them also. ENJOY!!

I just started doing a rotation w/ Ultimate Bootcamp and ab bootcamp and I am loving them. I got a little burnt out on weight training, so I'm taking a break and using these w/ Cathe cardio. I sold the Basic Bootcamp & Bootcamp cardio on ebay.

I had the fat blasting two pack and sold that on e-bay. I thought they were kind of like Bootcamp Lite - I wasn't impressed.

Hi Deb, enjoy the new workouts. I have both series and I love them. My favorites TAEBO are the advanced, the get ripped and the basic live series ( I have the nº 2- 7 basic live workouts and I love the music and the energy). The Billy's counting is not as Cathe's but he is very funny and motivating.

I just sold mine on Ebay. Thanks GOODNESS we all have different tastes! One woman's trash, another woman's treasure!

I keep trying to like Billy, hoping that his counting (even sides) will improve, but to no avail (one definition of crazy is that you keep repeating the same actions, expecting different results...so call me crazy!).

I find I am becoming more and more picky about what I will keep and not keep (though you might not guess so if you saw the three-tier bookshelf, double-rowed with about 200 EEK! workouts!). I'm seriously contemplating going through the rest of my Billy workouts and culling the ones that I have any frustration with at all (particularly with the uneven counting; the mediocre cuing, especially on the "6-count' moves he tries to smoosh into an 8-count pattern--and then acts like it's the background exercisers' fault that they don't follow what he's doing).

Tae Bo got me restarted on my fitness quest, so I'm a fan of Billy's. I like Ultimate and use that every now and again, and I use the Advanced Live and Get Ripped series as "light" days. Okay, when I first started they were really hard, but now... I'm finding myself getting impatient with his chatter. I've started doing Cathe kickboxing moves when he's marching out blabbing about making sure you're doing an exercise correctly. In my opinion if you're doing an "Advanced" tape, you should already know how to so the exercises. If you don't, you have no business doing an "Advanced" tape.

The Fat Blasters - well I like the Cardio. The Tae Bo boards are filled with people who adore Total Body Fat Blasters. I think it's one of the most boring workouts I have ever done. It's all upper body band work. Hardly any cardio. If you're not doing heavy weights, it would be a good start to resistance training, and I will admit that even with heavy weight, when I do Ultimate, the bands can get my shoulders, but I'm not really impressed. Thamks for the idea to sell it on eBay.

I've actually asked Billy, before I knew about Cathe, do produce a heart pounding, non-stop cardio workout, like his live classes, but he said there would be no market for such a thing and he would scare off too many people. As I listen to all of you, and see how successful Cathe is, I find that rather ironic.

Tae Bo got me started in exercise, so I have a fondness for it and a few advanced tapes for variety. But I have to say his recent stuff does not impress. I bought the series before Bootcamp (4 DVDs I think) and I sold it within a matter of months because the cardio just wasn't intense enough. Just when my heart was starting to get going he'd stop the set, then spend what seemed a very long time explaining the next move. So, I stick with his older stuff.

Are all the workouts in Bootcamp done with the bands?

I've been following this thread cuz I want to order the Fatblasting set, but the comments are not really persuading me.

I also am one that has all of the Live Volume Series Basic & Advanced thru volume 11. I love those Tae Bo, as they're challenging and I love the music in them. I also have Tae Bo II and Get Ripped series which I think are challenging. However, I've bought the Basic Bootcamp set (first ones where you just do pushups etc. & second ones with the bands), as well as the Series that uses the little balls and none of these get my heartrate up high enough.

I've only done part of one of the new Bootcamps that I got. I did it on a day I wanted all cardio and the DVD was 15 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes of toning with the bands. I thought at least one of them would be all cardio. I'm not really sold on the bands. I've got to try it again on a day when I haven't weight trained with Cathe the day before.

I'm still not sure if I'm gonna order the Fat Blasting series. I'm on the fence, as I really don't do any of my other workouts that much since I found Cathe. I really only use them for active recovery days.

If you are looking for a lighter resistance band workout, get the Fat Blasting series. If you are looking for good cardio, that is not it.

I look at the Ultimate Bootcamp as a toning video. There is a little cardio in it, but I don't consider that my cardio for the day when I do it.

Kathryn,

I like your comments about Billy trying to "smoosh" a 6 count move into an 8 count pattern! I never could figure out what I was doing wrong on those moves, and now I know why! It's like he suddenly has an extra 7-8 on the end of a move or going into the next one and you end up off count. You're right. If the background exercisers are thrown off and his daughter then you know it's a bad combination!

I just wanted to give you my opinion on Billy's Bootcamp

I Love them! My favorite so far is the lower body and the ultimate. I will use the basic from time to time for a light day. I also like the fat blasting series. I can't wait to try his abs workout from bootcamp. I wrapped the band around my wrist about 2 times doing the leg exercices and burn baby burn.

Have a great day all.

Deb:) :) :)

I like the Bootcamp series too, but I have to tell you. I was doing the Lower Body Bootcamp yesterday, and sweating alot. When I was doing the floor work with the tubing bands, one slipped and slapped my inner thigh YEOW!!! I like his Ab Bootcamp workout too. I think I have only one more in this series to try....:)..Carole

I have the Certified Best Taebo dvd that has two workouts on it. Butt and abs. I never use it. In fact I have never even gone through the whole workouts. Anyone wanting to try him can have it. Just send me an e-mail.

Hi Carole

OUCH on the inner thigh.I can't wait to try his ab workout.
Let me how you like the other BC when you do it. I think my husband and I will go for a bike ride later today after I get my spaghetti sauce on.

Have a great day
