Hi Cathe,

I am new to your videos and the 4 that I have gotten I LOVE!!
I was watching the Muscle Max the other day and my husband walked in and was watching it with me. I told him that I wanted to look sculpted like that and he told me "there is no way you can look like that unless you take some kind of muscle enhancer". I am 5' 1 1/2" tall and weigh 112 lbs, I work out 4-5 times a week and I mix it up between cardio, treadmill, and weight lifting. Is it possible to attain sculpted muscles without using enhancers? In order to achieve the muscles that you have do you work out more than an hour a day? I really want to prove my husband wrong so any suggestions that you can give me would be greatly appreciated!!! Dee

"Is it possible to attain sculpted muscles without using enhancers? "

In a word...YES!

Take a look at the photos some of the members here have linked to their posts. These ladies are buff and it's all from hard work and dedication to a healthy lifestyle. You have my permission to PROVE your husband wrong by toning up yourself so you too can look like not only Cathe and Crew, but the other fit ladies/men who frequent this site. :)

Check out the Video & Dvd Rotation's and the Video & Dvd Question's forums for ideas on how to put workouts together to accomplish your goal.

Welcome!

I think you can definitely prove your hubby wrong (in the nicest possible way of course lol)! I think the majority of buff ladies here do not take any supplements to enhance their look. Much of the definition they attain comes from hard work and clean eating. Also, I think the length of time people work out to achieve sculpted muscle really varies, as do the techniques they use. That part of the equation is about what works best for you, IMHO.

I have plenty of muscles and have never taken any enhancing supplements. This is so typical of men! When I worked out at a Gold's Gym and did personal training a few guys said I must be using steriods. I figure it was how they justified their own lack of discipline for hard training which was evident by their pathetic bodies. Anyone who trains sensibly, intelligently, consistently, and heavy along with adherence to a clean, healthful, adequate diet will build muscle and loss excess body fat.
