RE: Sunday TTC/Preggo **** Induction Day for Morris!!!...
Hi everyone!
We have a sunny day here in Portland, Oregon--finally. I did get our room/closet cleaned, but dh did not get the porch swing up. He did, however, clean his side of the closet and put up a light fixture that has been languishing in said closet for over a year (and he's an electrician--imagine it taking him so long
). I also did a ton of Spanish, another algebra chapter, made a huge pot of soup and huge batch of bread.
My workouts last week
SH chest
SH back
SH shoulders
SH biceps
SH triceps
I'm wondering if cardio is over for me, because my back is not doing well. This has never happened to me this early, but I am getting old. At least I am not losing my muscle. I know I'll get my cardio capacity back post partum and my cardio is so "weak" at this point anyway, I doubt it's helping control my weight gain.
Morris--I would miss you terribly if you quit checking in, so please continue to do so. I am praying that all goes well for you--((((big hugs)))) I can't wait to hear about your new little peanut.
Melanie--congrats on the race. I'm sure your babe is fine. I always get anarobic at some point in pregnancy and it hasn't caused me any difficulties. Enjoy the recliners---aaaaahhhhh--sounds so nice.
Kate--I hope you get your crib back. We could be that family that doesn't take the best care of...well, you know
. I've just gotten to the point where I won't borrow anything from anyone, because I just know something will happen to it. Now go relax, woman!
Trish--your 20 week belly looks like my 13 week belly. I wish I could post pics, I look like a cartoon caricture of a pregnant woman and I have 10 weeks to go. When does your husband get back? Do you have a good support system with him gone?
Lisa--Let us know how you like Kung Fu Panda. I'll probably wait until it comes out on Netflix, but I'd still like to know. Our older kids want to see the new batman movie, so dh will probably take them to see that and then no more movies in the theater for a while. Too expensive. I'm so sorry about your dog and that really sucks about your truck. I hope your cold goes away soon.
Stephanie--I think your baby is fine and won't be affected by your burn. Glad the game went well. I don't know if I'm nesting, because I'm always ready to attack the house when our school year ends, but the nesting instinct probably helps.
Candra--your boys will probably love ju jitsu (spelling?). My son loves sparring in tae kwon do. He is also a year-round wrestler and right now he is doing greco-roman, where they throw each other around. He loves it. And he's pretty set on the military. I'll just have to pray for his safety and my sanity constantly, which is never a bad thing.
Jen--I hate that jr high thing that adult women do sometimes also. For this reason, I have a select few close female friends, but I tend to avoid large groups of women. But that's just kind of my personality anyway. Are you done with your classroom? It sounds like a huge job and definitly counts as a workout in my book.
Anne--it is so good to hear from you. I'm sorry things are not going well at the office--the politics sound like no fun at all. I'm praying for a successful conception (((hugs)))
Hi Kristan! Hi Susan! Hi Mikkia! Hi Wellness! Please forgive me if I forgot anyone.
take care
Maggie
