Good morning Friends in Fitness!

How is everyone today?
Yesterday I had my guitar lesson and my teacher said I am doing excellent. He gave me another chord exercize and I could not do it because my fingers kept touching the strings they're not supposed to, and I was PISSED! x(
So last night before bed I picked up the guitar to practice a little and I GOT IT!! Not every time I tried, but at least I know I can do it! I am really having fun with it.:)

I'm off to do LowMax, step premix and then the blast premix after.(hopefully in its entirety)
Tonight I have ME. I can feel the wigglies already!}(

Wendy how's it going w/ FitDay?

My MIL is doing fine! Thank you for your prayers. She is very sore, I feel bad for her. Hopefully she'll be home this weekend sometime.

Kali-Don't be too hard on yourself about the guitar lessons. Sounds like you are doing a bang-up job and you'll soon be doing that chord exercise perfect EVERY time!:) I really like Fit Day...it's just quite in depth and takes time and patience to use...I didn't realize what it was really like when I bought it so it took me a while to find the patience for it. lol

So I have some DOMS from BC yesterday!}(

Today is cardio. I'm thinking Low Max step premix like Kali is doing but I will not be so brave as to follow it with the blast premix!I still need to try doing Low Max straight up and in full but I'm not up for it today I don't think. BC kicked my butt! :p

I used my body fat analyzer this morning. It is about 1/2 of a % lower than it was yesterday!!! I hope it's not a fluke! I will be sooo happy if I'm FINALLY seeing a # go DOWN!!!:7 :7 :7

Well, my Joey needs to eat. He ate last at midnight. I put him back down to sleep and he's just waking up now. :) We are going to grandma's house this afternoon for a visit. He might spend the night there...

Okay well I should be back after my work out!

You've probably been going down 1/2% every day Girl! I'll keep my fingers crossed it stays that way!:7 Glad to hear you got it working! Heehee.
That'll be nice if Joey spends the night at Grandma's house. Some quiet time for you & DH. What did you end up getting him for his BD?

I did the step combos from LowMax & step combos from C&W's. No blasts. I just didn't have the will to put myself in that kind of pain. Plus I have ME tonight and I want to be able to get thru that.
So I got my whole hour in which I'm trying to do w/ my cardio wo's.:D

I'm doing some laundry and CleanMax. I'll be checking in all day.

Kali, glad to hear your MIL is doing okay. Surgical procedures are so nerve-wracking. I think it is so cool you are taking guitar lessons. I want to take piano lessons... someday when I have time!

Wendy, congrats on the BF. What are you and DH doing for his b-day??? Something fun, I hope!!

I just got done doing PowerMax. I still can't get through the third segment, but I did make SOME progress and I watched the rest of it, so maybe next time I can get a little further! I am previewing LowMax today. I am taking Kali's approach and doing the step part first and then the blasts... I love Cathe's step workouts, but sometimes the choreography absolutely eludes me, lol. My issue with new workouts is I don't feel like I'm getting a great workout in the learning phase, you know?? So I tend to gravitate to the workouts I know really well.... Anyone else feel like that?

I absolutley tend to do wo's I know really well and LIKE too. I guess they all eventually grow on us when we learn them. I don't know tho. I'm still waiting for L&G's to grow on me!
I didn't do the blasts after the cardio in LowMax today. Maybe we can try that together someday. Someday down the far far road. LOL! I'm kidding. Let me know if you ever want to try it.

Are we up for another BC day everyone? Someone gave me their tape so I have the "whole" workout now not just the FitTv version. Maybe next week or the week after? What do you all think?

Ok. Back to cleaning the bathroom. I used a new cleaner and started to feel light headed from the fumes so I came down to take a break & check in. TTYAL,

Marie-DH and I are going up to his mom's house for dinner with his family tmrw and then him, me and his 2 sisters are going out for a few drinks and some dancing. Should be fun. :) I know what you mean about not feeling like it's a good w/o during the learning stage! Lots suggest to learn the w/o a little at a time, and use that as your warm up for a work out you know. Not a bad idea!

Kali-I have BC in my rotation and did it yesterday but I will be doing it next week on Tuesday or Thursday. Would you all mind doing it one of those days so I can have the company? :)

Well, as usual I changed my mind at the last minute...instead of the lowmax premix I did Power Max through the 2nd step combo and then the first 3 lowmax blasts,cooldown/stretch. What fun! Those LM blasts REALLY stick it to you after 40 minutes of straight stepping! I imagine doing all 7 blasts AFTER the lm step premix would be a killer w/o! Probably harder than the original w/o! IMO anyway.

Cals burned:640 and it was 53 minutes NOT including the w/u and c/d! WHOO HOO! :7 :7 :7

Ok off to feed my face :9 and then my son!:)

Congrats Wendy on your BF loss. Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned. I'm excited to move back with SO so we can go out & dance.

I'm up for BC anytime. Just let me know what works for everyone.

This morning I did RS (ended up working until 9 last night and was not up for it then) and boy did I struggle through the step challenge. The past two nights I didn't sleep very much and on top of that I did not eat very much yesterday because I was working all day. I ended up pausing and taking a mini break before the challenge at the end of RS. I squeezed in some sets of reverse bench lunges and pushups too.

Tomorrow is BodyMax and I am super excited. I have not done this workout in ages - not since I was working out regularly about a year and a half ago and I always loved it.

Hey Jessica! I wish DH would take me out dancing! He never feels like it!:-( . Oh well.
I know when I'm tired I have a hard time getting thru a tough wo too. I don't have BodyMax. Is it like anything else?

Next Thursday sounds good for BC for me if you guys want to put it in your rotations. Tuesday I do cardio in the AM & weights in the PM so that's out. Let me know. It's more fun when we do it together.
